I have posted a few times so apologies if I'm sounding like a stuck record.
This is my second pregnancy and I have severe pelvic pain, it's pretty much constant and affects me physically and mentally.
I have my first physio appointment tomorrow through the NHS, I was wondering if anyone has also had physio who could tell me what to expect. I'm quite a anxious person so would appreciate an idea of what may happen at this appointment. I just hope I can get some relief from this pain.
Thanks

I had a group appointment first it was mainly showing you ways to stand and sit more comfortably, appropriate footwear, how to sleep, get on and off bed,how to use the exercise ball to help and they gave us all tubigrips to help with the pressure of your belly

Mine was one to one, the physio demonstrated how it occurs and the importance of our pelvic floor muscles. We did some exercises using resistance bands and then a yoga ball. I also asked for a support belt. In all honesty nothing really helped ( I hope it’s different for you) but once I’d given birth it disappeared completely

They provided it but I know it differs depending on your Trust. I was the same, struggled from around 18 weeks and in the end I had to give in to walking everywhere at a snails pace. Sleeping with a pillow in between my knees helped. Good luck with it, hope it eases 💗 xx
