Does anyone else's 3 year olds still use a sound machine at bedtime?
My little one still uses one and it's still a life saver. Sometimes when she has an unsettled night she would shout for me or daddy to let us know it's run out of time. Sometimes if she wakes up upset in the night all we have to do is give her a cuddle and put it on and she will fall asleep.
I'm not too concerned about her still using it as I know some adults use white noise when they go to sleep but will there come a time when she won't need it anymore?

My 3 year old still uses hers, we have one that plays all night, always have done. her bedroom is right next door to the bathroom so it’s actually a god send in the mornings as I can get up and ready without waking her because the machine blocks out the noise.

Mine has a Google nest in his room so we play lullabies/music through it all night and Google keeps them going until you tell it to stop or if there’s a lot of noise it’ll switch off itself thinking you’re awake

My son still uses it to go off to sleep, he is 3.5, once asleep we turn it off. If he wakes in the night may also put it back on.

Yes our white noise is on all night still.. something I’ve been thinking about trying to cut down on/off but not sure if it’s a bad thing? It defo helps him sleep through household noise & his baby brother waking up in the night!

We now use a tonie box at bedtime and he falls asleep to that

We still have white noise on all night

Yes we use it all night, our household is noisy and so are our neighbours 😖

Yep, white noise in on all night but it's more to cover the noise of the baby who is in the room next door and my partner who stomps around like an elephant!
