Hello, so I thought I would make a post just to see if anyone has gone through this just for some reassurance as I’m such a anxious person I worry myself mostly over nothing 🫣
This is my first pregnancy and I have one bit of my gums that is swollen after doing some research (aka ChatGPT)😂 turns out that I might have gingivitis
It is literally just one little section of my gum right at the front which does cause me a lot of insecurities when I’m smiling when I’m laughing just because people are like what’s happened to your gum, which makes me then quite insecure I brushed twice a day use mouthwash twice a day I I’m ashamed to admit i have stopped flossing just because I didn’t want to cause it any more irritations. I also have just started to use salt warm water hopefully that will help with any kind of swelling🤞🏻🤞🏻 it’s not so sore or anything the only time it bleeds if I brush too hard which try my best not to do but I wanted to make a post just to see if anyone else’s has gone through this and can reassure me that it does go away nowhere in my town offers NHS appointments and dentist can be quite expensive obviously if need be I will go but I just wanted to come on here and see if anyone’s got any tips and tricks to help the swelling of it

Hi, I had this with my first as I was going through Invisalign and just felt like the less I irritated it the better, it went down pretty quickly after birth and my gums stopped bleeding and being irritated pretty much immediately after I gave birth. I think it’s just one of those things to ride out 🤷🏻♀️
