Hi all.
Just wanted to put a post out to see if your little ones are talking as of yet?
My daughter fully understands me talking to her, I read to her I’m always trying to encourage words.
She babbles mum and dada but I feel like it’s random and she doesn’t associate it with us still.
I have seen other children knowing songs and knowing words and saying some so I’m just a little concerned, anyone else’s little ones not really developing with speech?

Hi my son is the same, but I think everyone's development is different maybe it would be hereditary. Me and my brother are the same when we are at that age. So I think they will pick up at some point. Meanwhile encourage her to speak. If you have any concerns talk to your HV.
BLESS YOU BOTH, I know it's hard but we have to trust the process

My 21 month old daughter is trying really hard with a handful of words but nothing is being pronounced clearly. It can be hard feeling like your little one is "behind" but trust that it will come with time 🥰
