Honest to God why am I struggling so much with this regression and has it always been a thing because if it has how the f*** has noone mentioned it uears before I.e parents or friends that had kids 10+ years ago! Is it because most of us won't sleep train???? I dont know how much longer I have in me its been nearly 6w and I thought it was getting better but tonight he's been up EVERY 45 minutes again and will only settle if put on the boob or he screams! The rage is next level and its the night my husband has been out and gotten drunk so hes not much help snoring in the next room!!!!

Heyy, stay strong. We’ve been 7 weeks in until last night which was the first night in 7 week that she’s slept in her own bed for long without wanting to be in our bed and she also fell asleep by herself, babies are this age are still temperamental so nothings fixed but definitely everything comes in phases with them, this will pass, I’m hoping we’re coming out of it, it’s been brutal, I’ve been close to tears many nights but know that as hard as it is for it, it’s also hard for their growing brain and body.
Do whatever you need, co sleep if you have to sometimes, I’ve done that when it’s gotten too much.
Your mental health and physical health trumps any sleep training

Same here. I bring him to bed because it's the only way he would do a longer stretch. Just do whatever works to get some sleep. This will pass and he will be back to his cot or sleep place. We are on week 6 as well and mine is teething and really wants to roll over. Mine is also showing crawling signs!
It will pass before you know 🙏

People dont mention it because we dont want to scare first time parents.... this is your warning to look into the other regressions. My first I fought and fought through the 4m regression to keep him in his own bed every 42 mins.... it lasted a VERY long time. I eventually started co-sleeping with him and we all got more sleep. This time round ive been co-sleeping since day 1 and yes were getting regular wakes but she can now latch on her own and we both pretty much just sleep through it and were already seeing improvements after around 4 weeks of hourly wakes. So I would really recommend looking into co-sleeping safely until this phase passes and I promise it will pass.

It’s because years ago they didn’t have Google to tell them there was a regression. Mothers also didn’t have extra mental loads of work, Instagram pressure etc.
This regression is HARD. My baby has never really slept. But we’ve got worse and we’re now co sleeping - which I hate. But he won’t lie down alone and wakes constantly.
I got through it with my first, so I’m just thinking about how I know I’ll get through it again. And I know there will be a time where I love bedtimes and getting to watch my shows alone again. The time will come!! This is just a really shitty phase.

Im struggling sm with it😭
