FTM looking for sleep advice

Hey everyone!

I’m looking for some advice! I have a 3 month old that since the day she was born has not slept through the night. I EB her and no matter no much she feeds from me throughout the day (which is never the same time from one day to the next) I will always try and give her a last feed before bath and bed and give a top up to help her settle, she is winded and goes down just fine, but I still am having anything from 2/3 wake ups a night, never the same time and sometimes she will feed for ages other times she will feed, fall asleep wake up and feed again before fully settling.

Can someone tell me this is normal or what I’m doing wrong? Any advice would be really appreciated 😭😭

Really normal especially if bf. We're 12 months and still not sleeping through x

At that age it is completely normal, 3 months old should wake through the night for feeds, you are doing everything right don’t worry! 💕

Totally normal, we still have 2 wakes a night and we’re over a year on formula (now cow’s milk) - waking up is SIDs protection and babies are designed to eat when they need it x

We’re 12 months and never had a night where he’s slept through, it’s not unusual!

Babies are not meant to sleep through YET. It’s actually a safety feature our babies come with (waking frequently) which reduces chances of SIDS. You need to accept that baby may not sleep through the night ever until 3 years old.
Again every baby is individual so it varies. Try not to think of it as something you need to fix; sleep is biological.

I know it sounds crazy because it's super tiring but honestly be happy with what you have- my 16mo still wakes easily 5 or 6 times a night and has never come close to sleeping through, and there are babies that wake even more than that 🤣 babies sleep development is often not linear so they may improve for a bit then get worse for a bit and so on and so on lol, so try not to put too much weight on it if you can (again I know it's soooo hard!) As for most its a long and rocky road xxx

Super normal! 15 almost 16 month old bubba here and she has ONLY JUST slept through for the first couple times since I have completely stopped breastfeeding a week ago. Before this she was up literally every couple hours and she still has split nights sometimes it’s extremely rare to get her sleeping through

Bottle refusal

EBF and deciding I want a bit more flexibility so wanted to introduce a bottle so I can go out more.

She used to take one three months ago. Now she flat out refuses and cries - doesn’t matter if it’s expressed breastmilk or formula. Tried it in a sippy cup as well. What can I do?

Long night wakings and exhaustion

My 4 week old wakes once/ twice in the night. Problem is that the wake period is really long. It’s not that he’s awake for the whole time, but he struggles to get comfy again in his next to me. It often means I’m awake from about 2-4am and then he wakes again around 6 and we don’t get back to sleep after that one. We don’t get to sleep until around 10:30/11 as that is when he has his evening feed. My toddler is also waking in the night too sometimes. I’m so so tired that I can’t think straight and I’m also doing nursery runs/ looking after a toddler at the same time as a newborn and just feeling really overwhelmed. My husband helps out but he’s back at work and is knackered too. Is anyone else having similar issues?
