Cyclogest

Yes, I’m on progesterone. I’m currently pregnant with my 8th baby (following on from 7 miscarriages).

It is pretty normal for brownish discharge whilst on progesterone. I also had quite a big bleed of fresh blood and turns out baby is fine, strong heart beat and growing nicely, I had what they call a subchlorionic hematoma which burst (hence the blood loss) and I’m was under the EPU from 6 weeks and had loads of extra scans.

It is important that even though progesterone can cause brown sticky discharge and sometimes blood loss that it gets checked out, try not to worry (I know it’s incredibly hard) but it’s so common.

I’m now 11 weeks x

Yes I’m on cyclogest due to previous multiple miscarriages. I also had brown discharge and bleeding and went in for an early scan, everything was fine and I’m 10w now. I’m still getting the brown discharge though, I think it’s just the cyclogest and can be normal but do have a check for reassurance.
