My son is almost 21 months and has very little spoken words. I had him evaluated with early intervention and I just heard back that he qualifies for services. It's a little bitter sweet because on the one hand I'm glad he will start speech therapy and that my concerns are being taken seriously but on the other hand it hits a little hard knowing that he is in fact speech delayed. I'm doing the initial family service plan on Friday. Has anyone done this? I'm guessing they will discuss his current developmental milestones more in depth during this meeting.

Speech therapy can be so fun and is helpful!

I put my daughter in early intervention and I had a meeting with them yesterday she has her first appointment on the 23 of this month I’m excited hopefully it’ll help her to stop walking on her tippy toes bc she’s 17 months an just refuses to walk she’ll get really mad when we use the stand up walker for her idk what’s wrong but hopefully early intervention helps me out
