What are your tips for transferring the sleeping baby from your arms - to another caregiver or bed?
I feed the baby to sleep for most naps and if I try to hand her over or put her down she wakes almost instantly! I would like to be pinned to the sofa a little less…

Following!!! My little boy will only nap in the day in my arms or will nap in the car/ moving in pram

I saw excellent tips on a mum page on Instagram, basically always lower the bum down first as to not trigger the moro reflex and after release have your hand on baby's side/stomach/leg (wherever) and apply continuous pressure for a couple of seconds until settled as you transfer. Also speaking and soothing in a low monotone voice helps, or singing! It works like magic for us ☺️ but of course sometimes you need to start from the top as they will wake up. Also replacing the nip with a pacifier might help! I'll see if i can find the original post and will link it 👍🏻

I saw a video that gave tips on how to do this similar to Eszter's comment, but the only difference was to try & hold both of their hands (which can be tricky) to prevent the startle reflex x

Thanks for your advice ladies! I also read something about the Montessori topponcino, basically just a thick blanket, might give that a try soon
