Baby has totally shifted positions
Has your baby done a big change in position or movement??
Paranoid FTM looking for reassurance. This probably sounds silly
I’m 34 weeks. Baby has been tucked in my right side for WEEKS and movements always feel the same because for at least a month she had been head down, butt by my right ribs and when the kicks and stretches I feel it in my middle to left side. She’s been in the right side the whole 3rd trimester
Today baby has totally shifted and now my belly on the right is soft and hard in the middle and I think her full back is in line with my belly button if that make sense so still head down butt up but in the middle and toward the left? It’s really weird because I can feel her moving but it’s nowhere near as strong as it has been I guess because my she’s kicking or pushing into me rather than against me? She is moving a fair bit but it feels totally different. I reaaaally hate the change and just want her back to where she was because it felt safe and predictable but I know baby’s like to do what they want.
I’m also feeling so so so exhausted today so maybe more anxious than I’d usually be? I know she’s ok but I have been quite worried about her changing positions and there being issues with her chord getting tangled or choking her.. idk why 😭
I need to reiterate she IS moving a lot I can keel her moving and also her kicking I think I just don’t have anyone to really talk to about this stuff who’s experienced pregnancy

I'm 35 today.. and last night I had a weird feeling that the baby was kind of changing position and engaging more on my pelvis.. like I was feeling electric pain down there... And then stop... And today I feel like kicks are in a different place... And they are slower but still moving as usual pattern... But I can't understand how it is positioned now ... I just feel it is different... I'm so confused and anxious too.
That's a good thing! That's the perfect position for her to be in! You want her head down with her back out, no one wants a back to back baby trust me 🥴 this is all good stuff 👍
Heya yeah I had the same thing. Started last week at 32 weeks. She moved to my right side which is hard and the left side is normal. Had a scan that was already booked her head is very low. Feeling normal kicks and she is fine just getting ready for birth. They said she might still move and turn and it’s doesn’t mean she is engaged or labour will come soon.
I feel like my baby has a good move around each day. I have no idea where they are 🤣
I'm seeing the midwife tomorrow so hopefully she will reassure me that baby is still head down like they have been since my 25 weeks appointment
