I know its common to have ankle pain later on in pregnancy, but I wasn't expecting it this early. I put extra strain on my ankles by going rock climbing last night and was literally limpeing afterwards and had to ice my ankles. I already had tendinitis in one ankle so I know that's flaring now. But I still have discomfort when on my feet and it's been 24 hours. Has anyone else dealt with this issue so early on?

I’m having a lot of joint issues and nerve issues already and it started at 9 weeks. So that was insane. I have issues and pains normally before pregnancy but having a flare up so early I think it’s just gonna get worse. I’m now 17 weeks

It's hard to know where my chronic condition ends and normal pregnancy discomfort begins. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia so yes I've felt this way but I couldn't tell you which was responsible. As your body produces more relaxin to prepare for giving birth you'll definitely feel things shift. I'm at 16 weeks and my hips and legs click in and out of place constantly if I move in certain ways. I don't know which is the right way anymore 😮💨 but I'll get through it like everything else.
Sounds like your body is needing more rest through this short season of life, surely you'll be back on your feet and at a new normal hopefully near where you were before pregnancy, as your body recovers after.
