So we’ve been in the 4month sleep regression for nearly 6 weeks now. Every night LO is up every hour, I’m so tired! Naps are consistent, goes down to sleep okay, fed well and dry. I’ve been told it’s because they need to learn to self settle.
Currently rocked to sleep and then put in cot, usually need to pat bum until fully asleep as half wakes up when I put him down.
I’m finding it hard as a lot of the self settling techniques involve me being there for a period of time which is difficult when you have a 2 year old and your the only one around at the time.
Any advice and experiences of the best self settling techniques?
Thanks

We gave our 19 month old a queen size mattress.
We all go to ger room to read books and wind down. Once she falls asleep and my 3 month old usually does also. Then I get up and transfer my 3 month to my bed. Get ready (maybe tidy for 15 mins then go to bed myself)
