Is anyone else’s baby suddenly super fussy and hard to get down to sleep in the evening? My daughter is 11 weeks old tomorrow and for the last week we’ve been having a nightmare at bedtime. She’ll often scream inconsolably when my husband tried to give her a bottle, then again when we put her into her Moses, then it can take us an hour of putting the dummy in and out before she falls asleep. She was never like this before - anyone else in the same boat?

Oh my goodness, literally just happened to mine this evening. I’ve never heard screaming like it. (We’re 10+2). Couldn’t make her happy at all 💔💔

10 weeks today. Screaming bloody murder on & off 7pm-9.
I try to offer the breast because that's how our LO will normally be comforted & fall asleep but no help lately. I swap out with my OH for a break but she just thrashes around & cries louder with him.
Spotify with rain sounds, swaddle, dark room, dummy, sometimes changing her position thinking she's got wind but it's only a short respite. 🥴

was happening to us literally the whole week, when shes hard to sleep we put her in the buggy and rock her till shes asleep then put her in the crib. Shes not dependent on the buggy she will still sleep on her own in her crib just needs help gettinf herself to sleep sometimes so rocking works.

My LO has just turned 11 weeks and for the past few days we've have the exact same, prior he just went to sleep by himself and was pretty easy to go to bed but now it's taking an hour to get him to go to sleep 🤦🏼♀️ hoping it's a phase like everything else and will pass 🤞🏼

Mine does that he is a purple cryer though

My little boy is 12 weeks and was like this last week but we have gradually shifted his bed time earlier from 9:30 to 8 and that seems to have helped. I read that between 8-12 weeks they start producing melatonin which is what helps regulate their sleep cycle and its highest earlier in the evening which is why it’s recommended for 3/4 months to go bedtime at around 7:30pm
We live in a small village and the 2 nearest cities are around 45 minutes from us. Seems silly to get the baby out for the sake of 15 minutes

Hey everyone, looking for advice on navigating some tough stepfamily dynamics.
My partner and I have been together for a while. There was a lot of drama with his ex at the beginning, so the kids didn't like me initially. I get why the transition was hard, but we're running into a wall now that I gave birth.
The 12-year-old daughter has been super moody and upset about the pregnancy, especially stressing over whether it's a girl (we waited till I gave birth to find out the gender). On a recent FaceTime (which included the ex and the 17yo son), she literally sat in the background the whole time texting, ignoring us completely.
It really unsettled me especially the thought of her resentment if I had a daughter. I gave birth to a baby boy but still.
How do you guys handle stepkids who are openly resentful about a new baby, and how do you set boundaries with FaceTime calls when the ex is involved? Any advice is appreciated!

So recently my 2 year old has learned that he gets mad/ frustrated . Some girl took the ball from him like 2 times and the 3rd time he got mad and kinda growled but like when you’re mad. Then I bought him Legos and he’s learning some pieces are hard to stick together well he built a tower and screamed I’m mad right now ! And I told him it’s ok take a deep breath and let’s pick them up. And I just started reading tiny humans big emotions. Now I guess I better hurry up but for now how do you guys handle situations like these especially in public I know it starts at home but I need advice for both just so I don’t tell him the wrong thing and make him feel like he can’t cry or have feelings

Last night was one of the most frightening and emotionally overwhelming nights I’ve experienced in a long time, and I’m honestly not sure what to do.

Just fully changed vest and pjs number 4 or 5 in 24 hours oh myyyyyy. Between sneaky pees while changing nappy, poop or pee leak, and spit ups my washing is crazy! Usually 2 sleeping bags and at least 1 new sheet per each night also due to spit ups in bed 😖😖😖 ps spit ups are small but somehow with angle he soaks his whole arm so I have no choice… And of course they HATE the changing and scream!
