Aweful feeing

I love my baby. So much. This is why it hurts to feel this way. Since having them, my marriage has gone to shit and I miss who we were before we became parents. We’re in our upper 30s.

I feel so horrible ! And I do miss the old days.

Feeling like this is so much more normal then you think! Lots of people feel like this.
How old is little one?
The first few months are really tough and even the first year. It is massively life changing overnight. It is okay to miss your old life. It won’t always feel this hard.
Sending hugs xx

Try to find someone to care for the baby and have alone time with your spouse! Even if you can’t find someone to watch the baby, put the baby to sleep and have a date night in the living room or something to break that routine and get to spend quality time just the two of you! I think that’s the main issue when becoming parents, you need to set time just for the two of you to bond!!

Felt this! Hard not to dwell and I can tell my husband misses how I was before becoming a mom. Talk to a counselor or friend if you can. It helps just to rant. I hear it can take a long time before parents find their rhythm together but once you guys find it you will enjoy raising kids as a team

Don't feel awful. This is part of it. It's super hard to make time for you, for baby, for hubby, and for you & hubby as a couple.

You're not alone. All the mommas go through this.

It's just a matter of sitting down with your spouse and setting time aside. Have a dedicated date night. Have a dedicated sex night (not a joke). Have a dedicated night where you get to go out and do something you love. Have a dedicated night out where he gets to go out and do something he loves. Make sure you have dedicated family time.

It's tough. It doesn't get easier but just remember it's all a balancing act because kids are assholes. They think they own you. 🙄

I also went through this. It's such a massive change, having a baby, it changes your dynamic as a couple for sure.
I found that it took a lot pf communication work. Talk to each other. Share how you're feeling, what it is that you're missing most about gow you wefe before. Focus on things that are important for you both to nurture. For us, it was small gestures signalling intimacy, making sure we had time for each other - even if it was just a few moments every day.

Not helpful but. The old days will be here again before you know it.

Should I stay or?

So me and my fiancé have been together a year and a half and I’m 8 months pregnant. For the last few months my fiancé has been intrested in his computer/games and online friends. When I say this I mean I ask him for a cuddle around 8pm and don’t get one until about 1am, I have to beg for his attention. We have loans for Christmas time and the start of summer and I’m the only one repaying it for us even though he has half of the loan. (I pay £50 every Monday to repay the loan). He was given a course and did the whole course by the job centre and now has decided he doesn’t want to work and want to live on benefits for the rest of his life but I don’t want that (not that there’s anything wrong with living on benefits) but while all he does all day is play on his game otp with his friends on discord I’m doing online courses to get my qualifications to work my dream job. We no longer see eye to eye on what we want and I try to explain how I feel to him but he doesn’t listen. I love him so much but I don’t know if I can give up the life I want for him since he isn’t willing to compromise. Please tell me what I should do.

Birth plan?

I’m a first time mum and have no idea what to put on my birth plan. All I have so far is that my birth partners are my fiancé and mother. Any advice? I’m 33+4

Feel alone

My partner does help lots with chores etc but in their own time they only want to do a hobby which gives me the ick and mainly irritates me as they talk about it all the time when I have no interest. It’s got to the stage where we barely talk and I just feel so disconnected… I don’t want to join in the hobby… what can I do :(

Young Moms

Hey Guys I would love to find moms around the same age as me. A lot of the people my age don't understand that I can't go out everynight and I would love if I could hang out with someone that understands me
