Iāve had some sort of liquid come out of me this morning the only way I can explain the feeling is when your on your period and it comes out, I had that feeling twice, went for a wee and when I wiped there was like a snotty consistency, the āleakingā has stopped but my shorts are pretty wet from it. I was in triage yesterday for reduced movements, do you think itās worth a call back to make sure itās not labour? But surely amniotic fluid is a constant trickle and not just 2 little ones and then done?

My first pregnancy I only had partial loss of waters. The rest went when she was born as they were stuck behind her so itās always best to get checked. My midwife didnāt believe me that they had gone so I was almost 48 hours since rupturing so needed antibiotics for the rest of my labour.

looks like the tiniest bit of mucus plug
Hey!!
I am having an elected C-section for a few reasons but one being my anxiety.
I was initially told I would get a date around 39 weeks but Iāve just been told it could be 41 weeks instead.
Itās really shocked me as I think this runs a risk of her coming naturally as well as now adding 2 weeks to her due date (39 weeks now being 41).
Does anyone have any experience or advice on how to manage this kind of news and how their c-section date booking went?
Please note - Iām aware I could get a date and it be moved due to emergencies but I didnāt expect this huge change.

Hello,
Iāve just had my 12 week scan. When we started baby was doing a head stand, so had to walk around for 30 minutes. When I came back, the baby was still in an unfavourable position, but could just about get measurements after doing an internal scan. I came out feeling a bit disheartened as she didnāt really say much during the scan, or after, to make me feel reassured everything was fine. I had to ask her after if everything was ok and she just said yes all fine. Am I just overthinking things or did anyone else find it just so āclinicalā and one in one out kind of thing. Itās a shame because Iāve had some private scans and I was made to feel so comfortable and reassured there, but the NHS scan just made me come out with anxiety even though nothing was said to be wrong.

Im currently 40+3 with no signs of baby. My midwife wants to talk induction, does anyone have any advice on pain levels and effectiveness from the different types? The balloon method sounds very uncomfortable, but seem preferential to the pessary as you can go home after insertion?

I have to register my baby in two weeks, but still havenāt decided on the middle name. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking of giving her something of a biblical meaning. But Iām open to other types of names too (just something with a nice meaning) x
