I think itās hard because a lot of people are really wrapped up in their own lives. Thereās also a lot of judgment, which naturally puts walls up. Real connection takes time and energy, and many people either donāt have it or arenāt willing to give it. Add in past experiences, and your brain and body start protecting you, so connection doesnāt come as easily.

It is hard! š

Girlllll. I swear.
You are NOT. EVEN. LYING though!!! It can be so frustrating and I got really depressed about it for a while not too long ago. You know what Iāve realized latelyā¦for myself at least, thoughā¦.?
The āclickā isnāt sooooo elusive because itās hard to find other women I connect with. Iām pretty outgoing & friendly. I get along with, and I like, most other moms that I meet!
The tough piece (imo) is the timing/desire to/effort/HONESTY.
I often go out and about and come across another person Iām interested in trying to befriend. Or vice versa, someone clearly expresses interest in befriending me. And rarely thereās just clearly not any chemistry there to work with.
More often than not though, it just boils down to one person (or both) is just not in the right frame of mind to let the actual āclickā happen.
Because the biggest part of the āclickā isnāt actually the chemistry itself. But letting that chemistryā¦.flowwwwā¦.naturallyyyyy!!! š
If you connect but itās not

effortless then it just never sticks. For me at least.
If Iām struggling itās usually that Iām trying too hard or being guarded and not just being myself.
Just focus on being the most uncut, raw, genuine version of yourself. Be intentional but donāt force anything!
Grounding myself like this has really widened my success rate to āclickā.
And recognizing when others only hold space for surface level/small talk/drama/gossip. So Iām not wasting my time, since I look for more in a friendship than that.
I try to be honest with others too if Iām not with whatever they got going on and just politely keep it moving.
Me and my husband have 2 children, a 2 year old and a 2 week old. My husband has decided to split from me as he no longer feels our relationship is working.
He is planning on moving out tomorrow and this leaves me with no help whilst recovering from an emergency c section.
Am I legally allowed to move temporarily back to my parentās house (about a 3 hour drive away) until I have recovered. I will not cope at home with my toddler and newborn whilst recovering (husband was previously helping as he WFH). My parents have offered to help until I recover and can return home.
My husband is annoyed they he might not see our children whilst Iām staying at my parents. He told me that Iām trying to take his children away but I just cannot cope with looking after my toddler and newborn alone whilst recovering.

Hey y'all, my marriage is going through some issues. And while I love my husband, we have been trying for our second baby, so far it hasn't been successful. I've been having a lot of doubts about having a second baby while my first one is not even a year. I don't exactly feel ready. And I don't feel like my husband will help me out as much. So thinking on going on birth control. I just don't want my husband to find out. I know it is a horrible thing of me to do. But I already feel like a single mom and I can't wrap my head around what to babies would feel like if I'm doing this basically alone
