BF nipple help

Hey just came here to say I’m in the same situation as you, my nipples are so sore and I’m starting to really struggle now. My son is getting his tongue tie sorted next Thursday. I have been pumping on 1 side each time he is feeding on the other to try and have a break but he is cluster feeding so I can’t keep up x

Sorry to read you’re having such a struggle, it can be so painful. My daughter had tongue tie too which we got done quite quickly but even after that it was painful for a while.

These are brilliant for nipple damage, if you order now you may have them by tomorrow, I used them after my daughter made my nipple bleed, it was excruciating! If you get them keep them in the fridge so they’re extra cool. Another thing that helps is milk collectors that you pop in your bra which just helps your nipples not chafe against your bra/breastpads.

I’d definitely recommend changing your position, if you haven’t tried the rugby hold yet that can be a big help or try the koala hold to change up the position.

…. If you are really struggling you could also try expressing and feeding her that way for a little while just to give your nipples a rest for a while xxx

I used lansinoh nipple cream after every feed and then the silverettes ontop with my first and it worked. I've heard nipple shields are meant to be really good for shallow latches too
