My 7 month old likes rocking back and forth, moreso when happy, I just assumed it was a baby thing, maybe the spinning wrists thing is the same? Just an action that shows their emotions? I'm not too versed in early signs of neuro-divergent babies

If your little one was 2 or above then i would be concerned as flapping of wrists is a sign of autism but at this age its normal development so dont worry too much

There are loads more signs that someone is neuro divergent, such as no eye contact, walking on toes, being obsessive over things, not liking wearing certain clothes, rocking, flapping of wrists, spinning in circles

Nope it’s totally normal. My eldest is 3.5 and did this a lot but hasn’t done it since he was about 12 months maybe x

Gripe Water

Has anyone else dealt with this? My 7-week-old struggles every night to pass gas, grunting and kicking for hours starting at 2:00 AM. It's making sleep impossible for both of us! Has anyone tried gripe water,or other remedies, and did you actually see results? Would love to hear what worked for you. We do have Infacol but cannot really see improvement.

Period return- combi-feeding

I’m 8.5 weeks pp and my period has just come back. I am combi-feeding (50% breastmilk and 50% formula). Does this timeline seem normal? I don’t know why I was expecting longer before it came back 😭

Own room

When did you move your baby into their own room. My LO is 5 and a half months old and I have a cold currently and I'm just constantly waking her up in the night . Is it okay to move her separately

Cold sore and baby is two weeks old

I have a tingling on my lip and I’m thinking it’s the start of a cold sore as has been the case in the past. Has anyone had this before?? How did you protect your baby from exposure? I don’t know how best to protect him. I’ve obviously stopped kissing him, but I was kissing him today before I felt this tingle. I’m worried about spreading this to him and exposure he may have already had. Is it overboard to contact the GP?

I’ll be getting patches tomorrow but want to make sure I’m doing everything I can, so if anyone has any suggestions thanks in advance!

I feel so guilty and awful that I may have exposed him. It’s second nature to kiss him now so I’m struggling a little and I’m worried I’ll slip up. I’m so angry I have to worry about this. Thanks to my grandma when I was young, I was exposed and now I have to deal with this. To those mummas saying no to people kissing their babies, keep saying no you’re doing what’s best for them!

Do breastfeeding women “smell”

So I’ve never breastfeed I don’t even know what it’s like.

My child was in formula since day one of birth…
A few of my relatives have said that women who breastfeed have a smell on them…
Is that like a milk smell that they have?
