Iām fine during the day but in the evening⦠IM NOT OKAY š it has been like this for the last 3 nights and tonight has been the worse!
My little girl wants me to play with her and I just donāt have it in me because Iām too nauseous! I heard her & my husband talking in the kitchen. My husband said to her āI thought you were playing with mummy?ā and she said āmummy is feeling sick but I will go back to check on her in a minuteā. The mum guilt is hitting me hard š

I think we have to be kind to ourselves here. I feel mum guilt as I lie on the sofa watching my son play instead of playing with him. I just try and say to myself itās just a small season of life that they wonāt remember! Also weāre a very low screen time family but Iāve been using the tv more so we can snuggle together and connect that way xx

Maybe suggest a movie night with her in your bed or with blankets on the sofa xx

I have had 24 7 nausea since about 6 weeks and then throwing up 3 times a day , and for me personally found eating a bland meal about 5 helps the evening and Pepsi max ! Dont ask me why but it settles my stomach like nothing else. Ginger does nothing nor did the tablets from the doctor (all 3 different ones) also lime cordial if you cant stomach water x
Originally due 13th October, my blood pressure decided it no longer wanted to play ball and forced us into an earlier induction and all different hoops to jump through, but Brodie Angus has arrived today 09/10/26 at 12.59pm, weighing 8 pounds 15 ounces ā¤ļø and he has stolen our hearts!

Hi everyone,
Iām 40+5 weeks pregnant with my first baby and looking for advice from anyone whoās been through something similar.
My waters started leaking around 9:30 pm yesterday (so around 3.5 hours ago from this post) and no further leaking, and the hospital has confirmed this with a positive swab test. Iāve also tested positive for Group B Strep (GBS) previously.
Iām not having any contractions or pain yet, and when the midwife examined me, my cervix was still closed and appeared dry.
The hospital is recommending induction because my waters have broken and Iām GBS-positive. Iām particularly worried about induction when my cervix is still closed, whether it will work, and the possibility of it eventually leading to a C-section.
Iād really prefer to go into labour naturally and have a vaginal birth if possible, but I also want to make sure my baby is safe.
Also, thinking to get discharged and wait for a day at home as long as itās safe.
Has anyone experienced waters breaking before contractions started, particularly with GBS-positive results and a closed cervix?
Did you wait for natural labour or choose induction? How long did it take for your cervix to open, and did you manage to have a vaginal birth?
Would really appreciate hearing your experiences.
Thanks in advance.

So at this point I donāt even know whats going on š¤£I am 39+3 weeks and had so many episodes of cramping/pains where I have thought this is it but clearly its been Braxton hicks as still no baby!
Yesterday I had bad cramping and pains for 9 hours from 3pm onwards, had urge to poop and lost thick discharge, and the pains did feel like they were getting worse and at one point it was too uncomfortable to even walk.. to the point I had everything ready to go and then everything just stopped again LOL.
Its my 2nd birth but tbh forgot what it felt like last time as I was induced and the whole thing was a blur as it was four years ago!
Anyone else been experiencing this?

Iām new to all of this as a first-time mom, and Iām only 6 weeks pregnant, so itās still very early. Iāve been feeling pretty tired all the time, which I can manage, but Iāve also noticed that Iām becoming more irritable than usual. I feel like I need to poop more often, but when I do, it comes out in small, pebble-like pieces that is not hard. When I canāt go, I feel really uncomfortable and nauseous, although I never actually throw up. On top of that, Iāve been struggling to sleep. I keep tossing and turning throughout the night and waking up frequently, so I never feel like Iām getting proper rest.
