We’re planning on traveling to America, New York in November, my girl will be a week from turning 1. Anyone from there or has travelled there can give any activities or sight seeing we can do? I’ve looked on TikTok for ideas but any hidden gems anyone could recommend would be appreciated!!

We took our little boy to NYC (& Canada) at 13 months. They’re at such a cool age that they’ll just enjoy going along with you. We went to see a Yankees baseball game & then we did our own gossip girl tour 😂 He loved all the lights of Times Square!
We spent quite a lot of time in Central Park as our son had just started walking & enjoyed chasing the pigeons & the park
Aside note & i don’t know how easy it is in reality from US side but we went from Vancouver but Niagara Falls was amazing & he loved the boat!
Hi all,
My child is in reception now. The school curriculum does it still teach/cover gender identity? Is this only in primary school or also secondary?
And if they do what can we do about it as parents. I wouldn’t like my child to participate in such things???

Hi all, my husband is going on a weekend to France in a few weekends time to see his friend who lives there -Friday to Sunday. I’m really dreading it as our baby is just over 4 months and currently going through the regression and is super challenging at the moment. I’m so nervous to deal with it all on my own. I may go stay with his parents over the weekend or his sister may come see me for a night but I’m worried as my baby currently screams and melts down if held by anyone but me . I don’t want to be super negative and want my husband to enjoy his weekend but I feel so anxious and stressed . I don’t know whether to have his sister come stay with me for a night or go to his parents a 1 hour drive away to get a break …. As I said her current state means none of them will actually be able to help me as she only wants me ! If I go to his parents I get a change of scenery and have some support but am in a less familiar environment and plus she hates that car!! If I stay home then I’m in a comfortable environment and I’m n my own space but will only have his sister for support for one evening not his whole family …… Any advice ?

Recently I've come to the decision to no longer allow certain behaviors that are for adults and children. Without trauma dumping, My son and I are in a recovery period. No one in our lives understand that. It's always get over it and you're still held up on it. When "it" wasn't over until November of last year. Through protection orders and not really having any guidance or village when it comes to us, I'm definitely paving the way for our outcome to be bigger than our downfall was. No one knows yet, but we are moving away from everyone we know and everything we know. Somewhere where we can start fresh and continue. We're not running and that's all everyone is going to see it as. I have my baby's childhood in my hands and I'm determined to make it as good as I can before he's older. I don't know if/when we will tell everyone where we are but for now I know and understand that we need to get right and start new.

My husband is going back to work next Monday and I'm starting to feel quite apprehensive about it...
I'm pretty sure I'll be absolutely fine with my daughter but he's been so hands on and we've tackled everything like a team plus he has been really good at making sure I nap when I can as well. so I'm just a bit worried that it might all fall apart when I'm doing it all on my own 🙁🫣
Anyone else feeling the same or have any advise?? 🙏🏻

After the baby arrived, all our conversations have become about the baby. It makes me feel extremely bad. I expressed to my husband that im starting to feel lonely and want him to talk to me too. But he took it as a blame or complaint against him. I thought he would be happy to hear i miss him but it ended into an argument which hurt me more. How can i make him understand? Im almost starting to regret having a baby because I feel i lost him.
