Double pram recs uk

So I live in a flat in the uk, I have a may 25 baby and am due an Oct 26 baby. Any recommendations for a pram that takes up little space and can fold down in my flat, that can ideally lay down flat for a newborn

Also any good single prams / boards too for shorter trips!

I have an April 24 baby and a December 25 baby. Truth be told I baby wear December baby and toddler goes in the buggy or walks. This has just been what has worked for us so far. I have found a second hand off road buggy for spring when my December baby is too big and heavy to carry (he's already around 12lbs)

If you’re thinking of a travel system I have the zummi stride or something one from smyths for my 2 with a 16 month gap. It fits in my cars boot which is quite a small space and obviously comes with a car seat so was a bonus for me. If you’re not on the ground floor though it might be a pain to take it up stairs if no lift

Co sleeping

Maybe I’m being dumb but I don’t understand the concept of co sleeping for those of you who do it when baby doesn’t stay down in their cot. Am I missing the point or is there no difference in the two? I put my baby down in the bed the same way I put her in her cot. Am I doing it wrong? She wakes up and cries and doesn’t want to stay down. She wants to be held. I’ve tried to hold her, lie down and the roll over so she still thinks I’m holding her, but there’s too much movement and she wakes up regardless of co sleeping. Do other mums hold their babies or cuddle them when co sleeping? From the lullaby trust I can see that the baby is not being held in any way, so I can’t understand how I’m supposed to sleep if my baby doesn’t want to be put down even when co sleeping..

Mantras getting me through month 4 with my previously amazing sleeper 🥹

As most of us are currently going through it with sleep, i thought I’d share the things I’m telling myself at 4 in the morning when she is frantically thrashing around trying to connect her sleep cycles.

“Despite what people call it, this is not a regression. She is not going backwards, she is learning something new.”

“She is a baby doing baby things - sometimes they don’t make sense”

“Her brain is going through a massive change. Regardless of how tired I am, she is building something that will stay with her for life.”

“I can only help give her the foundations to get through this, this is something she will learn for herself, in her own time.“

“I am lucky that get to be here to watch her learn this new skill.”

“I will sleep again.” (Probably the most important one)

I know I’m finding this period tough, because before now we had a baby who only woke once during the night. These are nice reminders I repeat to myself when I’m tired (and awake at 3:45). I hope they might be useful to someone else in the same position.

Not sleeping in crib/ bed

I’ve got a 4 week year old and since birth, they don’t like sleeping in their own next to me crib or even on my bed and if so, it can sometimes last a few minutes when I put them down 😭

Baby only sleeps if on me or their dad. Any tips to get baby to sleep on crib/ bed without waking up after 5 minutes 😭

Bedside Crib / Cot

What is everyone using once little one grows out of the next to me bedside crib (so hands are touching the sides, slowly reaching the max weight ect) are you going straight to the main huge cot or an inbetween? Our cot is so huge and turns into a bed eventually but I didn’t want to move it into our bedroom from the other room just yet but might need to.
Any recommendations?

Baby hates my breast milk?

My baby is 3 months old and EBF. For the past little while whenever I offer her the boob she will push it away, turn her whole body away, and grimace like it disgusts her. Even when I can tell she’s really hungry, she refuses to eat.

I can only get her to feed when she’s extremely drowsy. This is making feeding really stressful. Despite this she is gaining weight well but it’s taking a lot of effort on my part.

Has anyone else dealt with this and how did you get through it?
