I’ve been exclusively breastfeeding for 12 weeks and I would like to move to combination and eventually just bottle and no boob. Has anyone done the same and what should I expect?

I have

I have but just introduced one formula bottle a day, in the evening, basically because my little one falls to sleep more easily and stays asleep longer for that first stint of the night. I found my little one took a bit of adjusting to the formula in that he was more gassy and was pooing less, I think it made him a bit constipated but he’s adjusting. I’d suggest introducing slowly with just one feed a day on formula and increasing from there if you wish, rather than changing too much suddenly.

Hi! I'm thinking about the same process. If it's not too much to ask,!would you share the reason you want to do this. I'm struggling emotionally with this whole breastfeeding journey and looking to hear other perspectives so I don't feel alone :)

Sorry for the late response! We went straight into giving him one at night as I just couldn’t satiate his hunger one night to get him to sleep. We are still only giving one formula bottle a day so haven’t taken the process of transition any further. If I were to start again, I would probably pick a different formula, one that is closer to breast milk. Not sure if you’re UK based, but Hipp organic would have been my first choice.
We live in a small village and the 2 nearest cities are around 45 minutes from us. Seems silly to get the baby out for the sake of 15 minutes

Hey everyone, looking for advice on navigating some tough stepfamily dynamics.
My partner and I have been together for a while. There was a lot of drama with his ex at the beginning, so the kids didn't like me initially. I get why the transition was hard, but we're running into a wall now that I gave birth.
The 12-year-old daughter has been super moody and upset about the pregnancy, especially stressing over whether it's a girl (we waited till I gave birth to find out the gender). On a recent FaceTime (which included the ex and the 17yo son), she literally sat in the background the whole time texting, ignoring us completely.
It really unsettled me especially the thought of her resentment if I had a daughter. I gave birth to a baby boy but still.
How do you guys handle stepkids who are openly resentful about a new baby, and how do you set boundaries with FaceTime calls when the ex is involved? Any advice is appreciated!

So recently my 2 year old has learned that he gets mad/ frustrated . Some girl took the ball from him like 2 times and the 3rd time he got mad and kinda growled but like when you’re mad. Then I bought him Legos and he’s learning some pieces are hard to stick together well he built a tower and screamed I’m mad right now ! And I told him it’s ok take a deep breath and let’s pick them up. And I just started reading tiny humans big emotions. Now I guess I better hurry up but for now how do you guys handle situations like these especially in public I know it starts at home but I need advice for both just so I don’t tell him the wrong thing and make him feel like he can’t cry or have feelings

Last night was one of the most frightening and emotionally overwhelming nights I’ve experienced in a long time, and I’m honestly not sure what to do.

Hi any nursing bra recommendations as I’m 8 weeks into my breastfeeding journey and boobs have decided to be asymmetrical and so sensitive. Any good supportive nursing bra recommendations as currently using some from primark. And other advice around nursing welcome !

Just fully changed vest and pjs number 4 or 5 in 24 hours oh myyyyyy. Between sneaky pees while changing nappy, poop or pee leak, and spit ups my washing is crazy! Usually 2 sleeping bags and at least 1 new sheet per each night also due to spit ups in bed 😖😖😖 ps spit ups are small but somehow with angle he soaks his whole arm so I have no choice… And of course they HATE the changing and scream!
