Aw hope you're okay?
I think the advice usually is to pop a pad on so you can monitor how much there is and the texture and colour, so if DID need to call your unit for advice then you can describe it to them a bit easier

I've had a lot of discharge in pregnancy- its normal xx

Your waters is literally like water, and it'd trickle out. Whereas discharge has some sort of texture to it xx

Loads of discharge is normal. However, I would still call triage, there's a simple test they can do to find out if it's amniotic fluid. I had this happen in third trimester and they brought me in to check it. Sent home no problems. That will hopefully put your mind at rest x

I did read somewhere that the mucus plug can come out and then regrow again. I'd take the other commenters advice about the pad and speaking to triage.

Issues with community midwife’s

Hello
I’m 36+2 and I’m officially over the midwife care I have received, I’ve been dismissed multiple times on different subjects by multiple midwife’s in my community midwife team , I’ve not seen one consistently it’s been a group of 4 of them , I get told “ we will talk about that at the next appointment “ only to have somone else and it not be discussed & for my last 2 appointments I’ve been sent to maternity assessment .
I also asked not to see one of the midwives again and I was told it’s not possible and can’t garuntee it .

It’s causing me more stress now than anything is anyone else in the same boat ? Can I refuse maternity care going forward ?
I’m happy to go to maternity assessment if needed but I can’t with the community midwives anymore .

Could you give me your best tips and advice. I have no idea how to prepare or what to bring or use post healing!
Super nervous about it.
Thank you 🩷

Would you go?

My sister has her hen do abroad, 6 weeks after my baby is due. I’m so torn as I know with my first I struggled leaving her for a minute when she was that small. I obviously don’t want to miss my sisters hen do as I’m maid of honour & so excited for her!
My fiance has said he is happy for me to go and he will look after our toddler and the newborn. (I’d have to pump and leave milk) although we might try to combi feed like we did for our first.
Would love to be there for both occasions. Is it so bad just for 3 nights?

How did you celebrate your baby's first birthday?

My little one is turning one soon, and I’d love to hear how other mums marked the day. Did you do a big party, a day out, or something simple at home?
