my daughter (4) has been potty training since december of last year. peeing is easy, straight forward she got it quickly. however, shes been pooping in her pants consistently for about a week now. no warning, no letting us know that she pooped in her pants (we end up smelling it, she doesnt even seem bothered by it), nothing. at the start of our potty training journey, she would have accidents but always told us and most of it would get in the toilet. now she just empties it into her underwear. help!! please!!!
also tips on how to get poop out of underwear would be great, but honestly i just want to throw them all out š

I donāt have much advice, just solidarity. For poops in the underwear, if itās more solid I wipe as much out as I can with baby wipes and put it straight into the washer. Tbh if itās softer, it just gets chucked in the trash. Wasteful? Maybe, but we all have our limits lol

My 1 & 2 year old daughterās are fully potty trained. If you want some tips & ready for full commitment depending on your schedule send me a message.

I wash the underwear out in the tub. And scoop the poop into the toilet . But unpopular opinion, I forced my toddler to sit on the toilet until they peed or pooped like 4 times a day. I would try the naked method too, I also did that. Usually they show warning signs before they poop, like for instance mines will get quiet , go into the other room etc. or have a specific time when they poop like around lunch time I would look for the ques.

Iām doing the naked method and my daughter will pee no problem. She begs for a diaper when she needs to poop but I refuse. Sometimes she tries to go into the other room. I just remind her throughout the day that pee pee and poop go in the potty. Itās been working. We havenāt moved to undies yet.

No good advice other than to say eventually she'll get it..... but it could possibly be a fear thing..... my 7yr old has an irrational fear of the toilet and encopresis so she poops her pants on the daily......

Rinse the undies saturate it with a stain remover spray and let sit for the spray to work until the next wash. I havenāt thrown out any undies! Iām able to get them stain free as long as theyāve been sprayed and pre-treated. And do you notice a trend w the poops? Like is she a morning pooper? My boy poops in the morning so Iād make sure to ask and prompt him does he need to poop. Heāll say yea and go if he needs to. Itās easier when they poop on a schedule
I'm 3 months postpartum and my partner expects me to spend more time with his family when he's not there because he's working.
There have been comments made from his mum to him and then passed on to me that they expected me to make more of an effort with them. Honestly, it's overwhelming and added pressure and awkwardness. I get on with them fine but the relationship feels forced and they are coming to see the baby and not for me, am I wrong for not wanting this? My partner and i had a argument because he doesnt understand how its fine for my family to visit, i tried to explain the dynamics are different and as much as my family want to see the baby they come to visit to check in and give support to me! Has anyone else dealt with these expectations, and how did you handle it?
I now feel awkward, pressured and alot of guilt on my shoulders because they're 'not seeing the baby enough to bond'. Now cant get it out of my mind and want to see if I am in the wrong for not wanting them over much and prefer to keep it to when my partner is around.

On Instagram your seeing all these post about husbands doing all the cooking, cleaning, food shop and looking after the other kids and allowing you to sleep, rest and focus on caring for the new baby..
Is this even possible. My husband helps but im still doing everything like usual. Im cooking all our meals, mowed the garden yesterday, hoover daily wash and hang the clothes outside. He is making our toddlers packed lunch for nursery and does the food shop but other than that everything is our usual. I havent had this waited on hand and food situation I see on socials š¤£š

Iām a complete laugh. I donāt know what to do. Iām currently 20 weeks pregnant with our second child. Itās been difficult for me to cook and look at food so weāve been eating out quite a bit tonight. My fiancĆ© felt the need to say Iām always asking for something and I expressed him. What do you mean he said food outside food he said this is a luxury in so many words and Iām ungrateful. He feels that being a SAHM is a job in so many ways . I constantly have to ask for things such as household items things for our daughter. I donāt get my hair done or my nails or feet . At this point I feel so uncomfortable asking for anything. And to add he said I could get a job . Idk what to do.

Having to ask permission from my partner to go have a bath on a Sunday is insane. Yet he walks out the house when he likes to go smoke or plays on his laptop when he likes without a care in the world.
Told him to put the baby on the playmat so he can kick around his answer well all he does is cry and I hate the sound of him crying. Itās consumingā¦
Bear in mind football is on at 4:30pm and Iām gonna have to cook dinner and do bedtime routine.
Sorry just need a rant.

I am confused as to how there are so many parents letting there little ones play games rated for kids twice their age. Does it not concern you how this will affect your kiddo long term? What is it doing to their development?
