Hi! I’m 7 months postpartum. My period was pretty normal a couple months after delivering my baby. I stopped breastfeeding about 3 months ago ever since I stopped my cycle has been weird. I used to get my period every 28 days like clockwork now it’s around 35 days. I spend about 10 days before my period honestly feeling like I’m going to get it. I’m super bloated. Honestly my boobs are bigger now than when I gave birth. I can’t lose weight and body just feels overall shitty. Any advice on how to get my body back to normal?

Hi mama, no advice but solidarity. Only difference is I’m still breastfeeding. I’ve only had 2 periods so far (got my first around 5 months pp), and my second was 20 days late. My periods used to be the same as yours like clockwork and never late. I think the biggest thing is take pregnancy tests and give your body time to adjust. Not sure if this is your first but this is my second and my first time postpartum I didn’t have these issues.. every pregnancy and body is different. ❤️🩹

Thank you, Serena. Yes, this is my first and I am 43 so I’m thinking maybe it’s because I’m an older mom that my body is having a hard time bouncing back.

Hi mama, I'm in the same boat as you. Ftm, baby is 7 months old and I used to get my period lick clockwork but I haven't even though I stopped breastfeeding and haven't lost any weight. Best advice I can give is you gotta keep in mind it takes up to 5 years for a moms hormones to go completely back to pre pregnancy. Your body I still healing internally, and hormonally. Your cortisol is high because you have a baby now so water retention is completely normal. And odd period times is more indication that your hormones are still adjusting. Just gotta give it time
As far as making yourself feel better, I've found eating whole foods to make a big difference and having a good workout routine. Even 3-4 days a week maybe it's walking or the gym. It'll make you feel better as your body is still adjusting

It can take up to 6 years to recover after child birth mentally physically and emotionally but like a cold maybe you can treat the symptoms
Like maybe an anti inflammatory diet or even high alkaline diet could help

Thank you! I like the idea of an anti inflammatory diet.
I’ve returned to work and my breast fed baby girl will NOT take to any bottle. I have tried so many. Any suggestions?

Is mounjaro allowed to be taken whilst breastfeeding? I’m not on it yet, but considering it as it’s the only thing that helps me lose some weight due to my health conditions.

Our baby shower is in 19 days and theres only been 7 things bought off our registry... i cant help but be a little upset. ive heard other parents say similar things about their registries being ignored and i just feel like im doing something wrong?? we're going to be thankful for everything we're gifted of course but i dont understand why people wouldnt want to get things we're specifically asking for when theyre going to get a gift anyway..... how did your registries turn out? is there something i can do to boost it more? please help :(

Hi mums, I’m 10 weeks postpartum and feeling so burnt out. My baby doesn't latch, so I’ve been pumping and mixed feeding. Pumping is exhausting me, and I’m really thinking about quitting.
Because I work in healthcare, the guilt is hitting me hard and I keep overthinking the benefits of breast milk. But my mental and physical health are slipping.
Would love to hear from moms whose babies are 100% formula-fed. Please tell me your formula babies are thriving and that you got your sanity back! Need some reassurance today. 🙏

My little girl is 7.5 weeks and we are struggling with feeding. When she takes the bottle, halfway into a feed she will be hysterically crying and want to continue to eat but keeps pulling off. This happens with the boob but not as much as only feeding boob mainly at night with a few day feeds. She will take the bottle if she’s either tired or distracted. Has anyone experienced this please? It started around 1.5 weeks ago and we are mainly doing pumped breast milk. Hoping this is just a phase 😩

My little one is 5 weeks old and does not wind!! No matter what I do. I try for like 15 minutes and he doesn’t bring anything up, I tend to keep him lying on me after feeding if I can’t wind him and he’s normally ok. There’s been the odd occasion he’s spat up when I’ve led him down but it’s very rare. What is the consequences if he is not burped? It’s stressing me out because surely he has something to bring up and don’t want him being uncomfortable 🙈
