What do we all do when we need a break due to overstimulation and exhaustion?
I pass baby to my fiancee, straight away want baby back but move to a quiet room and snack out usually 🫣🤣 looking for alternative methods hahaha

I usually go for a nice bath

Oh no, it’s hard ooo, we don’t just stop worrying as mums

If its a day that a break is an option (usually not), I like to give baby to my husband and have a bottle made just in case while I shower and sing my own music for once lol
I love 90% of kinds of music, but I don't like listening to anything vulgar/sexual around my son. That's fine most of the time, but it's nice to feel like an individual and sing sexy songs to my heart's content sometimes. I usually have to take showers while I have the baby by myself during my husband's work day, but when I have someone to pass him off to it feels amazing to blast whatever music I want.

honestly it does wonders.

I take my girls for a walk. Fresh air, sunlight and movement feel great!
Hey!!
I am having an elected C-section for a few reasons but one being my anxiety.
I was initially told I would get a date around 39 weeks but I’ve just been told it could be 41 weeks instead.
It’s really shocked me as I think this runs a risk of her coming naturally as well as now adding 2 weeks to her due date (39 weeks now being 41).
Does anyone have any experience or advice on how to manage this kind of news and how their c-section date booking went?
Please note - I’m aware I could get a date and it be moved due to emergencies but I didn’t expect this huge change.

Im currently 40+3 with no signs of baby. My midwife wants to talk induction, does anyone have any advice on pain levels and effectiveness from the different types? The balloon method sounds very uncomfortable, but seem preferential to the pessary as you can go home after insertion?

Hello,
I’ve just had my 12 week scan. When we started baby was doing a head stand, so had to walk around for 30 minutes. When I came back, the baby was still in an unfavourable position, but could just about get measurements after doing an internal scan. I came out feeling a bit disheartened as she didn’t really say much during the scan, or after, to make me feel reassured everything was fine. I had to ask her after if everything was ok and she just said yes all fine. Am I just overthinking things or did anyone else find it just so “clinical” and one in one out kind of thing. It’s a shame because I’ve had some private scans and I was made to feel so comfortable and reassured there, but the NHS scan just made me come out with anxiety even though nothing was said to be wrong.

Hi everyone, i had my 20 week scan the other day. Everythings looking good but baby is on the smaller side particuarly head and tummy. I have been asked to go back in for a growth scan in 2 weeks time. I have been reassured by other people that some people do juat have smaller babies. My gp also advised i might need extra growth scans as some of my medications can impact growth but shouldnt be a big enough issue to come off the medications as that could have a bigger negative impact. Trying not to feel guilty as some people have smaller babies genetically anyway, i am jusr hoping to see reassuring progress at the next scan. Would appreciate tqlking to people who can relate

Hey everyone!
I’m currently weighing up a scheduled c section verses being induced (first time mum, I have gestational diabetes, baby is measuring big, high blood pressure, high bmi and various other factors for this)
I know there’s no real ‘better choice’ but I’d love to hear your stories to help me decide!
How was your experience, your recovery ect?
Thank you!

I’ve seen a lot of postpartum binders/bands/wraps to help muscle contraction in the stomach. Has anyone used any? Would you recommend it?
