I feel like this is a personal and/or cultural preference. I think going outside is always good! Even just for a few minutes to get some fresh air, feel the sun on your skin. But I also know older people in my culture always say “baby shouldn’t be outside for the first 3 months”. I also think that if you feel up for it, you should be good to spend some time outside, right? 🤷🏾♀️

I took my son on walks once I felt up for it. I would say after the first couple of weeks I went on short slow walks around the neighborhood. Definitely don’t do anything strenuous for at least 6 weeks.

my baby is 9 days and we went outside bc he had jaundice but it’s super helpful for my mental health and it’s 75 degrees in louisiana so we only stayed outside for a few minutes

I started taking walks with my daughter in the stroller when she was 3 weeks old i had the bassinet stroller and just layed her in it and did a lap around the block every other day at sunset so it wasnt super bright and hot but still light out so id say whenever your ready just remember babys are extremely sensitive and burn veryyyy easy so just make sure your picking the best time of day with low uv index and that its not to hot or cold out‼️

With my first I went out when he was about 5 days old. I think it’s up to you if you feel up to it and as long as the weather is too hot or cold. And my husband is Hispanic and his mom and other family friends would tell me the same thing. Lol so I wouldn’t pay it no mind. A lot of Hispanic women will tell you to wait until 2-3 months. I love being outside so I definitely was not waiting that long. So what’s best for you and what you feel comfortable with.
When did you move your baby into their own room? My baby is now 6 months old and this morning I found him on his stomach in his next to me. He can roll both ways but hasn’t got the understanding that he can’t always roll in the direction he wants to. I worry about SIDS with him being on his stomach. I have anxiety about moving him into his own room because I can’t just look over and check he’s ok and breathing. Has anyone else experienced this and when did you move your baby into their room?

Hey everyone!
Anyone experienced shoulder pain during pregnancy?
I’m reading all these things online and I’m starting to freak out as I am not sure if it’s because of training or something more serious. It’s not at the tip of the shoulder and don’t have any bleeding.
My scan is on the 5th of November! I am about 5 weeks ish

I have been told I’ll most likely be getting induced as a first time mum. What’s everyone’s experience like what an induction, and a baloon one too😐

Really think I'm having line eyes. Can someone invert this to see if they can see anything?
