Who hates their husband after having a baby and why

I’m curious to hear reasons for resenting your partner if you do or if you became closer after having a baby. Has anyone found it gets better with time or what can help this?

What are your reasons for hating him?

I only ask because resentment comes a lot of the times because your needs aren’t being met

I wouldnt say I hate him, but I wish he did more without having to be asked. If I ask, he will do it. But I dont think he realizes how much I'm doing and thinking about constantly, and having to ask him to do every little thing is just another task on top of everything im already doing. I think im going to have a talk with him about it soon, before the resentment really starts to take hold.

I resent him for not being the support I needed postpartum. He became more work than help.
Finally left home

Didn't hate him after our first, he was for the most part supportive and an involved dad. Around the time I got pregnant with our second he started to slack. By the time our second was 1.5 he was consumed by anxiety and depression and refused to get help until I threatened to leave. Now at almost 2.5 he got enough help to say he tried but he doesn't truly want to change so I've decided to separate

I’ve never felt like I hated my husband, I think we got closer. We have 12 month old twins and our lives have been a shit show this past year with all the setbacks you can think of (family drama about our kids, death of his father, having to leave our life behind and move to a new state, both being unemployed, having no money, mental illness, chronic sleep deprivation and much more) but we’re each other’s light through it all. We bicker sometimes, but we’ve never lost any of our love or passion for each other. We still dance together in the kitchen after the babies go to bed. I don’t think it’s normal to feel like you hate your partner. It probably means you have unmet needs or something needs to be communicated. When you figure out the cause of it and find a solution together, it’ll probably work itself out

Baby poops

I’m going alittle crazy! My ebf 11 week old for the past 3 weeks will only poop every 6 days. Brought it up to the pediatrician and I’ve done everything they told us to do. Bicycle kicks, tummy rubs, rectal temp check, warm baths and even a suppository. He is very low on the percentile like 9% so I feel like he isn’t holding on to the milk and about day 4 he is so uncomfortable. We took him to the ER Saturday and they did a xray and just told us he had gas. Went to a follow-up peds appointment and they started him on liquid Pepcid due to possible silent reflux. He burps & farts during/ after feeds. We give mylicon or gripe water for the gas discomfort which helps sometimes. I have a feeling this isn’t normal especially when he used to poop everyday.
Pic so we don’t get lost

Sex..

I’m really not interested at all 8 weeks post partum and my husband has been asking. I had a traumatic birth with forceps, an episiotomy and a small tear in vagina. We didn’t really have sex during pregnancy and that was fine as we were both a little weirded out by it!

I just wanted to check if others have felt the same!

Placenta Encapsulation

Curious what everyone is planning to do with their placenta after birth. Has anyone tried encapsulation, or is anyone considering it?

I’ve been looking into the process and would love to hear real experiences, good or bad. Is it worth it?

4 month regression

I’m finding it really difficult and bed time is taking 1-2 hours. It is full of false starts and my bub seems wired despite clearly showing signs of being exhausted. I feel like I have no down time and it is mentally draining.

What time do you put your baby down for bed?
