Pregnancy Rage

I am feeling so exhausted from the amount of negativity coming from ME. I feel like I hate everyone and everything right now, I am so angry all of the time. What is everyone doing to retrain their pregnant brain into being more positive?

I’m on the same exact boat babe. I don’t know how to stop it. I hate EVERYTHING. everyone annoys me. It’s not fair to anyone around me and my husband keeps saying “can you just smile?” I honestly wish I could just snap my fingers and be more energetic. I’m not usually like this. I HATE MY JOB right now too and I can’t seam to find joy in it. I wish I had an answer. I thought I was alone on this feeling. Everyone I talk to is like “I love being pregnant this experience is so beautiful” and I AGREE. THIS ISTHE BIGGEST BLESSING. so then I start to feel guilty about my negativity, but yet I’m still so ANNOYED ALL THE TIME.

I have fought & over come this, but still have some rough moments.

If you aren’t a believer, please ignore, I’m not trying to push my religion on you, just simply sharing what helps me push through!

I start every day with a Bible verse and a gratefulness prayer. I thank the Lord for any and everything I can think of, and I just keep doing it all day with every small victory.

Example from today: I recently became a stay at home mom & today has been exhausting because the kids & even husband got the house messy over the weekend. I caught my self going down the negative slope & stopped and thanked God for allowing me to be home, just like I have wanted for so long.

Same. My relationships are deteriorating because of it too. I literally cant keep the house organised, barely able to upkeep my hair ect, feel like I can’t smile or feel real happiness. This is so lonely and I thought this pregnancy I got away with not feeling like this but up untill my third trimester it seems to have gone down hill even feeling like I can’t do this anymore *sigh* I need to pray more I have it in my mind all the time to pray. Though I’m 31 weeks I signed up to the gym just to give me something to do outside of being stuck with my thoughts and feelings in my house. The fact I know this is all so temporary is what irritates me the most!! Cause there’s nothing I can do but to keep pushing and trying not to self sabotage this life.

Same! I’ve been reading and listening to podcasts a lot and taking a lot more naps just so I don’t focus on the things in my personal life and job that are causing me to doom spiral. It doesn’t always work and some days are better than others. I’m normally a very chill person so my husband doesn’t know how to help me and so can’t articulate why I’m crying or angry except to say…. Hormones. 😭

Cough at night..

Has anyone’s little one got a cough that only affects them at night? This started after my LO had a cold and temp but we are now on week 3 with no other symptoms but a cough that only affects her at night. She’s had 2 lots of croup medication and it hasn’t worked so they don’t think it’s that. I’ve taken her to the doctors 3 times and mentioned I’m worried about asthma but they just keep saying it will go. My LO is such a good sleeper and I feel so guilty she’s not getting good quality sleep and I don’t know how else to help her. We have tried her on a tilt, used vapour rub, she has a diffuser in her room, nasal spray, olbas patches. She is 2.5 years. Has anyone else had this or found something to help?

Naps

How do you get your babies to nap in the day? What’s the process… do you rock then lay down for example once asleep? My son only likes napping in the carrier or if I do manage to put him down I have to rock until asleep, lay down on his side and tap his bum but independent naps don’t last long at all. I want to get him napping better on his own but the process is so long!!!!

Baby doesn’t cry if I leave

Hi so this may seem a bit weird but my baby doesn’t get upset if I leave him with someone else. He doesn’t cry or anything. He seems happy when he sees me again though but I was just wondering as I was reading a post that said that babies like that could be unattached? If that is even a thing. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? Also do I sound weird 😣

I’ve made a rod for my own back 😩

My baby girl is almost 11 weeks old and over the last week or so her false starts at night have gotten worse! Once she is asleep at night she generally only wakes once or twice for a little feed, but it can take hours to get to that point.

I just want to soak it all up so the ‘1 nap a day in the bassinet’ hasn’t been happening consistently, so I know this is the first thing to start doing.

At bedtime (whatever that is 🥴) I am feeding, changing, and rocking her to sleep and then transferring - which again, I know isn’t helping the false starts.

I just cannot let her get so upset/distressed before sleeping! How do I make these changes without just leaving her to work out that she needs to sleep?

Any tips would be much appreciated!
From one tired mumma and one cuddly baby 🥹
