He always tries to be “helpful” by trying to reframe things for me but like by telling me my feelings are wrong.
He can’t just hear me. He can’t just say that sucks. He can’t think to say “well how can we avoid stuff like this happening again in the future”.
He just says I’m overreacting or something of the sort.
Like no shit dude, I’m aware I’m in a heightened emotional state, that’s why I came to you, my person who I thought understood me, to talk about it.
I’m not looking for solutions. I just want to be heard. I don’t know why that’s so hard

Learn more about our guidelines.on Friday he had arranged for my mom to come over and watch our kid, while my mom was here she did some laundry on her own accord. She said she washed my leggings but I spent Friday night - Monday just now looking for them.
While I’m looking for them today my dog kept laying in the most inconvenient spots possible. I kept kicking him because I didn’t see him laying there & he kept moving to other spots in the way somewhere else. So I was getting really frustrated. Was coming up empty on my leggings and I lost something else I was carrying around with me.
So then I snapped and wanted to just tell someone how frustrated I was. So I called my partner instead of calling my mother to be frustrated about it. And his response was just like “well you should be grateful your mom helped us out” and I’m like ??? Bro I never said I was mad at her I said I’m frustrated that she said she washed them & she thought she had them dried and set up in a safe spot so I could find them, & I still hadn’t
And I also have another pair of the same leggings, those are also missing. And I couldn’t find anything. I called him just trying to get my frustration out and be heard so I could just move past it. But instead he makes me feel bad for already feeling bad.
I hung up on him and texted him saying next time I’m just frustrated like that I figure out another way through it that doesn’t involve trying to talk to him. Because I’m just so tired of it going like this.

I'M SORRY BABES AND THERAPY THEY WILL🙏🏿LISTEN TO W.E. CAUSE IT'S THEY JOB.
OR FIND A GOOD FRIEND WHO'S A GREAT LISTENER.
I'M THAT PERSON FOR MY FRIENDS

THATS WHY I SAID FRIEND......FRIEND..... YOU FOCUSED ON ONE PART
AS A PERSON WHO NEEDS TO TALK ABOUT SOMETHING TILL I PROCESS IS THAT'S WHY I MENTIONED A FRIEND.
I'M AUTISTIC WITH BPD........SO I GET THAT
When I’m frustrated the only thing that helps me pushed past it, is complaining. Is talking about how frustrated I am.
I don’t think that’s insane or too much. I think that’s normal. I don’t know why I can’t find anybody who can handle it
Like he literally did the whole “other people in the world have bigger issues than leggings” no shit dude, the ongoing genocides in the world are part of WHY misplacing a simple pair of leggings STRESSES ME OUT UNREASONABLY

BABES LET'S BE FRIENDS CAUSE ID LISTEN TO YOU ALL DAY YOU VENTING WILL ALWAYS BE VALID

I’m having my first baby in January and my mum asked me today whether I’d like her to be in the room alongside my husband for the birth of little boy. I could tell she asked because it’s something she really wants but I felt it was important to be honest and say that I really just want it to be my husband and I, but would absolutely love for her to be in the waiting room and the first to meet him after us.
I received a really hostile response back and she told me that her best friend witnessed her daughter’s birth and she feels like I don’t love her as much / im not listening to her feelings because I don’t want to go down that route. It then became quite a negative conversation around how she feels left behind and that I only go to her ‘when I need something’.
It’s made me feel really emotional and turbulent and it’s made me feel quite sad because I feel like she’s not listening to what I want and my boundaries but instead making me feel bad for what is ultimately my decision.
Has anyone had something similar happen? How did you navigate the conversation after?

My 10 week old has always been very attracted to me from the start and early on when I put her down in the bouncer or the mat to play she woukd start to cry after 10-20 minutes. Recently its gotten alot worse to the point she starts to cry as soon as I lower her down or bring her away from me. The only time she's happy and not crying when im not holding her is nappy changes, she rarely does tummy time on the mat as she will just scream the place down (she does it on my chest instead).
Will she grow out of this or is there anything I can do to settle her when I put her down, ive tried toys, lights, singing, books but nothing works unless I pick her up. I feel bad that nothing gets done around the house or that I dont get 5 minutes to myself. Shes exclusively bf.

Hi mums! Has anyone experienced their Owlet sock giving a red alert for oxygen levels dropping below 80%?
This has happened twice now with my 7-month-old daughter, both times while she’s been sleeping on her tummy. Each time I’ve gone straight in to check on her and she’s been absolutely fine - breathing normally, responsive and sleeping peacefully.
What’s confusing me is that the Owlet seems to work perfectly fine the rest of the night, and on other nights, showing completely normal oxygen levels. Even when I check the history after the alerts, her oxygen levels look normal, although I understand the graph shows averages.
She’s also recently had a cold and still has a slightly congested, runny nose, so I’m wondering whether that could be contributing.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Did you get your baby’s oxygen or breathing checked by a doctor, and was anything actually found? Or did it turn out to be false alerts from the Owlet?

Has anyone else experienced this with their little one? 🥹💗
My little girl is nearly 7 weeks old and during the day she’s generally absolutely fine, but as soon as nighttime comes around, it’s like a switch flips!
She screams and cries, sometimes for hours, and it feels like nothing I do settles her. I’ve tried feeding, winding, changing, cuddling. I even started her on infacol and giving her gripe water.
The strange thing is that it’s only at night! During the day she’s a completely different baby.
Has anyone else gone through this? Is it just a phase, witching hour, colic or something else? When did it get better for you?
I’m absolutely exhausted and have no idea what else to try.
