Hi! Just looking for anyone who has had similar… I had a Mw appointment last week where my bump measured larger than expected based on the previous measurements so had a growth scan. The growth scan showed the baby is in the 32nd percentile which is a big reduction from before where he showed 63% (at about 26 weeks or so). Has anyone had similar? I have another scan but not for another 3 weeks so a little anxious . Thanks!

I feel like they always get babies sizing wrong I was told my baby was huge so I got induced at 37 weeks she came out at 7lbs and was tiny I wouldnt stress yourself out about it too much x

My midwife told me I was measuring in the 97th percentile and I was expected to have an 8-10lbs baby. Baby was born in the 25th percentile and weighted just over 6lbs. They always get it wrong, it's just a guesstimate. I wouldn't worry too much xx

From 26 weeks I had growth scans every 2 weeks due to a series of issues.
They estimated my LB to be 10lbs. He was born at 7lb 7oz, wearing tiny baby clothes.
The same thing happened with my mum and brother. He was also born at 7lb 7oz after being estimated to be 10lbs 16 years ago. There is no guarantee
However with my aunt, her lb was estimated to be 9lbs and was 8lb at 37 weeks so it is possible
these november baby’s ain’t playing i’ve been in labor since this afternoon she’ll be here soon !

Hello
I’m 36+2 and I’m officially over the midwife care I have received, I’ve been dismissed multiple times on different subjects by multiple midwife’s in my community midwife team , I’ve not seen one consistently it’s been a group of 4 of them , I get told “ we will talk about that at the next appointment “ only to have somone else and it not be discussed & for my last 2 appointments I’ve been sent to maternity assessment .
I also asked not to see one of the midwives again and I was told it’s not possible and can’t garuntee it .
It’s causing me more stress now than anything is anyone else in the same boat ? Can I refuse maternity care going forward ?
I’m happy to go to maternity assessment if needed but I can’t with the community midwives anymore .

Having my second baby and this time around I have to have a C section due to complications in my last pregnancy.
Could you give me your best tips and advice. I have no idea how to prepare or what to bring or use post healing!
Super nervous about it.
Thank you 🩷

People say the sun starts to come out at 3 months postpartum and slowly becomes enjoyable at 4-5 months, in this true, i have been reading mixed things, currently at 6 weeks postpartum and just surviving on hope things Will be better!!

My sister has her hen do abroad, 6 weeks after my baby is due. I’m so torn as I know with my first I struggled leaving her for a minute when she was that small. I obviously don’t want to miss my sisters hen do as I’m maid of honour & so excited for her!
My fiance has said he is happy for me to go and he will look after our toddler and the newborn. (I’d have to pump and leave milk) although we might try to combi feed like we did for our first.
Would love to be there for both occasions. Is it so bad just for 3 nights?

My little one is turning one soon, and I’d love to hear how other mums marked the day. Did you do a big party, a day out, or something simple at home?
