Question is anyone going through the stage where there 16 month old is not eating dinner she has a big breakfast because she hasn’t been eating at dinner going on 2 weeks now breakfast, snack, lunch, nap, snack then dinner around 5:30/6 every night. Is there any tips or tricks I can do to get her to start eating (she is still teething 4 coming in all at the same time)

My 21 month old goes through times where he'll only eat 2 out of 3 meals. I think it's normal. He always eats GOOD at the meals he wants to eat, so I just let it happen

There are so many reasons this happens- snack too close to dinner, too tired by that time, or she just doesn’t feel like eating. They will not starve themselves/ this is perfectly normal. My son goes through this- then goes back to eating dinner then stops again and on and off again. If you absolutely must have her eat dinner skip the snack after her nap or make dinner a bit earlier in case it’s an energy crash.

Ok I’m glad I’m not the only one going through this she eats a good healthy breakfast n she loves her fruit so that’s what she’ll normally snack on is fruit n I give her a different veggies here n there she doesn’t like the green veggies so I sneak it in😂

Great blueprint for future reference and prep for the childhood years.
This is normal - toddlers are naturally neophobic and take time to become comfortable with unfamiliar foods. They also tend to need less than we think they do, and they fight for autonomy, you just have to roll with it and keep offering food. He'll get there.
