I’m 17 weeks and I’m already feeling baby girl kicking or poking not sure what she’s doing exactly. With my son I felt him pretty early as well but I wanna say it was a week or so later then baby girl! I felt her jolt like really hard the first time at my prenatal appointment 2 days ago when OB was using the Doppler applying pressure! A day before that It was like a fish in water but nothing too crazy. But since that appointment it’s just real hard. I’m not too suprised it’s early only because I was already used to it being early with my son given I had a posterior placenta and I’m only 125 pounds and my son was a big baby. But my son was definitely not this active until 21-24 weeks that i was really feeling him consistently. I already felt baby girl about 6 times in 3 days and each time it just shocks me how hard she is moving now like I really can’t believe I feel her already it’s crazy. Like why is she this active already lmfaoo like girl get some sleep. It’s almost like she’s just eager to let me know she’s there. 😭

Im 20wks now and I feel the same way! It feels like they (suprise gender) have been renovating in there for the past two days lol. I felt them around week 15. For my son I was around week 18-19 by the time I felt them. I can already sort of tell their wake patterns. Its cray!!

Feeling movement from anywhere between 16-22 weeks is normal. I felt my baby girl (who I guess isn’t a baby anymore because she just turned 2 the other day 😭😭) with an anterior placenta at 16w with flutters, 18w with kicks. This time around I’ve been feeling little jabs at even 9w-10w (now I’m 16w today). Unsure of placenta because I’m not 20w yet but based off my 10w ultrasound, it looked like another anterior placenta. It’s quite normal to feel movements earlier in second or any pregnancy following your first. Your body knows what to do and what to expect.

I was 14 weeks with my first son with and a posterior placenta and he was active a whole bunch, I now am pregnant with my second son and have anterior and just started feeling him move, I would have to say maybe another posterior placenta with an active baby? Or maybe baby is just super active? My first son would always try to “run away” from the Doppler at appointments 😂 maybe that’s what she’s tryin to do. She’s most likely just an active baby, enjoy those little kicks and movements :)
