I am curious to know how many naps your 4 month olds are having during the day? Mine still naps 4-5 times a day as he is waking between 5:30-6am and bedtime is between 7-7:30pm. Most naps last 30-40 mins unless 1 long contact nap so I feel like I can’t drop a nap yet as his wake windows are only around 1.5 hours if we make it there!! I’m just concerned as I feel like he should be only 3-4 naps but that seems impossible without him becoming extremely overtired …?

Absolutely depends on the day, sometimes we’re only on two long naps from 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours and sometimes we’re on 4-5 shorter naps. She’s sleeping 10-12 hours at night with maybe 2-3 mini wakes for some milk.

My girl has about 5 30-40 min naps and a bed time around 8:30-9:30. But she has a tooth coming through so is extra uncomfortable so I just take every day as it comes. Using the napper app has helped so much! It actually predicts her naps so well! So I know when she should be winding down and getting sleepy x

My LO rarely naps. Maximum 30 mins x 2 a day.

We’re in the exact same boat as you! She wakes at 5.30/6 most days and still needs at least 4 naps. We’re deffo in the middle of the sleep regression too 😅 I also use huckleberry but I’m trying to chill with it cos it definitely stresses me out 😂 x

We r the same with naps and can't get my little boy down for the night earlier than 11pm 🙈 and he's still up usually once sometimes twice through the night for a feed which can be anywhere between 20mins to just over an hour.

I’d say we’re on about 4 naps a day, these will only be 30-45 minutes! Sometimes we’ll get a 2 hour nap in her pram or contact nap 🤣 I’ve given up with crib naps for now as she never settles and would prefer the cuddle anyway 🥰

For us same nap duration and similar wake up and bed times as yours. Only all our naps are all contact naps x

Thank you for commenting all 🫶 just out of interest how is your LO sleep at night? Can you get them to fall asleep independently yet? X

My daughter naps around 4 naps a day and they are typically 30-45min. I recently started timing myself and go in at the 20-25min mark and help her connect her sleep cycle sometimes it works she’s able to connect cycles and other times it’s a fail 🤦🏾♀️ but her bedtime 730pm and has one night waking.

She used to sleep 9-6, but regression has hit and she sleeps from 8.30 pm and wakes at 2, 4 , 5 (I put her in bed with me if she gets up at 5) and then at 7 am and I’ll get up with her then. Haven’t mastered putting down awake yet, either asleep or very very on the verge of falling asleep drowsy 😂x

Recently we're on 3 naps a day, middle one being a longer one (2,5h) and the other two shorter (20-40min), but it changes. Today we had two short morning naps and one lunch 3,5h nap.

my LO goes to bed around 8.30 sleeps till anywhere between 7-8.30 and then naps at 10, 1 and 4 ishhhh approx 45minutes-1hour 30 per nap. have no idea if its right or wrong 🤣 he is usually in a fairy good mood and everyone is always shocked how “happy” he wakes up 🙈

Have no idea honestly, she naps when she naps. Sometimes that's an hour long nap. Sometimes 10 mins if she wakes up as I don't have time to put her back down again. And God knows what her wake windows are, some maybe over 2 hours and some still like 1 hr. Unless she naps in the carrier/pram/contact it will be a very short nap. But she sleeps great at night (better than my 2 year old😂) so I'm just going with the flow right now

We have a 7-7 day with usually 4 naps. Most naps are 45 mins now (which is an improvement from 26 mins 😅) but I’ll extend naps where I can by rocking etc, Wake windows are 1hr 45 throughout the day. If the 3rd finished late and he needs another nap to bridge the gap before bedtime, the 4th nap will be 15/20 mins. Like last night he had a 15 min nap that finished at 17:45 but we still did bedtime at 7 as the cat nap just takes the edge off so he wouldn’t manage the full wake window
Is anyone else still wearing nursing bras even after they’ve stopped nursing because it’s just comfortable?? Because hi 🙋♀️. I would like nothing more than to retire them as war heroes but what are we all wearing as alternatives? Does anyone have recommendation for comfy supportive cute bras? ‘Cause the girls do be needing more support after 9 months of nursing. I was looking at the Knix no underwire ones.

My mum has recently found a free pram that’s she’s brought home for us, it’s a bugaboo chameleon 3, with an L shaped bucket seat, but it also reclines back fully (will include pictures). There’s some parts missing, we’ll need to get more straps for it. As the seat fully reclines, I’m guessing there’s some sort of seat you can put it in for babies that need to lie at an 180 angle. I really need help finding a seat, I have no idea what to look for or any of the pram terminology. I’m hoping to get something to put in it for a newborn before thinking about buying a whole other pram well only use for 5 months. Any advice appreciated

Hi,
Have started trying to harvest colostrum because I have gestational diabetes and am due soon and apparently it’s really beneficial for GD babies. At the moment I can only get the tiniest amount that you can’t even really see in the syringe. I am just using my hands at the moment. Would pumping help better or does anyone have any other tips on how to express more?

Is weaning at 24 weeks a good idea?
He gives all signs of readiness so I though that giving that he’s breastfeeding really often ( every 2 hours day and night ) this might fill him up better? 🤷🏻♀️

Hey all!
My girl is nearly 7 months and for little while she has been a nightmare to change her nappies and clothes 🫣😂
All she wants to do is roll onto her front and try crawl off the mat!
I used to be able to distract her by singing and dancing - but now I can’t find anything to distract her and I’m chasing her around her changing mat 😂 and trying to change her backwards lol
I know it’s normal for most babies to go through these stages, just wondered if anyone has found anything that has helped.?

What are your naps looking like at the moment?
She’s fighting every single nap and I feel like maybe I’ve got the timing off or should be getting her to push through tiredness. Feeling a bit clueless atm
Her fighting naps is delaying everything so it’s leading to her bedtime edging later and later
