When I weaned my last baby we cut daytime feeds first, and then naps, and then overnight. I think the fact that she nurses only once or twice a night is great! Night time was the hardest for us but my babies want to be on and off the boob all night long. It was really rough the first couple of nights (crying for hours) but after that we established a new bed time routine (singing, rocking/patting) and she wasn’t interested at all anymore. I think the key to cutting day time is to use distractions. Offer food/water if she’s genuinely hungry, another form of comfort like snuggles or play!

Hey! I was just at my babies 18 months appointment and my dr said stop the day time and middle night time. I stopped the middle of the night by telling her only when red light is on milk is available and she understood. So before bed I put red light and around 6-6:30 am when she drinks again I put red light. Im gonna start tomorrow to take her daytime away but Im not sure how easy thats gonna be
