EBF

I breastfeed my little boy but I am disliking it now because of the biting 😭 He’s got 8 teeth already and obviously lots more to come but it’s so painful when he bites my nipple and he’s also started biting my arm/shoulder when we cuddle. I really don’t want to give up breastfeeding because I’m so proud of getting to 8.5 months after a difficult start with a shallow latch, but I don’t know how to stop the biting and I love being able to feed my baby; I am so proud of myself and his growth. Is anyone else going through biting and conflicting ideas of EBF? No hate to formula feeding, but I really don’t like the idea of it. I also can’t be bothered with sterilising/making bottles and formula seems expensive 😅

Heya! I have only been nipped by my 8mo twice, apparently it's because the milk supply is starting to slow and they get frustrated! We also have a shallow latch due to tongue tie that wasn't fully released. I also have a little love bite bruise and some teeth marks on my forearm today - I think it's from teething pain as four teeth are coming through at once 😭 do you have nipple shields? They might help soften the pain from the bite maybe?

Co- sleeping 🥰💕

Can I just say to all those co-sleeping mama’s out there…… you’re doing one of the most natural things possible providing security, love, care and attention to not only your babies needs but your own 💕 It is so right yet you are lead to believe it’s so wrong! Why?

Soak in all the love and cuddles whilst they are small as one day they won’t need us like we need them 🥰💕

First birthday party timing

What’s the best timing for a first birthday party? (Garden party at home)
Currently 9.5m old, on 2 naps roughly 9 & 13:00. Thinking 11:00-14:00? Is it likely they will drop to 1 nap by then?

So I’m calling doctors tomorrow but just wanna check in here see if anyone knows what’s wrong. My daughter is 5 months old and in the past 2 weeks she’s started making these noises like she struggling for breath it doesn’t seem to bother her much and I thought it was bc she was getting excited before as it does happen when she’s exited but it’s started to get random she could be just sat there and it happen anyone know what’s could’ve going on !

At what age did your baby start using pillows and duvet?

Perhaps a silly question, but as a FTM, I'm not sure when I should introduce my baby to sleep with a pillow and duvet. He is going to turn 12 months soon and that thought just came to my mind- I have no idea when it should happen!

What tog number is the recommend one?

Is it normal…

Is it normal for babies to lose their shit whilst they’re asleep?
Last night my baby was sound asleep and then started properly crying - I checked and his eyes were closed so decided to hold on incase he settled himself!
He just kept crying but was still asleep, I ended up waking him up to settle him back down with boob, he went back to sleep and did a bit of a dream feed. Then he had a normal wake up and feed, and back to sleep 3 hours later. Then he did it again, but this time I just picked him up, patted his bum and he stopped.
Is it normal, and if it is can I so anything to stop it as I can’t sleep through his crying at all 🫣

Long sleep stretches

I’m not complaining but I’m def concerned , my son sleeps 6-7 hours at night… he’s 7 weeks today. He’s growing healthy weight, everything is fine. But he sleeps 6-7 hours 😭 I worry if this is normal at his age. He’s exclusively breastfed
