Might be dumb but have you offered water instead? You kinda gotta be firm and tell them it’s water or nothing, if you keep giving in to the screaming and crying they learn that gets them what they want and it’ll only get harder to get them out of that cycle as they get older as they get more sneaky with the tactics to get what they want. I’m sorry you’re going through this though especially with being pregnant as well :/

I would look into healthy options…. maybe unsweetened almond milk, 100% cocoa powder, mixed with monk fruit? Or kids protein shakes. Or you could make it start tasting bitter🤭 so he no longer ask for it.

Tonies

Thinking of buying a Tonies box for my toddler’s birthday, but according to some reviews I’ve read on Amazon they don’t last very long and are prone to technical issues, etc.
Those of you who own one, what do you think? Are they worth the money?

Panicked breastfeeding

Hi all, my little girl is 3 weeks old and exclusively breastfeeding (I'm also pumping so my husband can help me get naps in when baby is fussing). Problem is we seem to have the hungriest baby ever even outside of cluster feeds, but most importantly she goes through these panic moments where she just... freaks out on boob? Feels liks she's screaming for it but it's literally in her mouth. She's definetely drinking enough as she pulls off boob and milk sprays everywhere, and she's shot past her birth weight, our midwife even mentioned she's one of the fastest growing babies she's seen. So what's with the freakouts?? I end up crying in the dead of night every night atm 😅 I've tried making sure she's warm, burping her more, calming her but she still has those episodes. Overtiredness maybe?

Two things I am curious about! Not a problem, just intrigued to see what others are doing

1) My nearly 7 month old still can’t roll! She has been sitting unassisted for a while now but still has 0 interest in rolling during the day. At night I can see her on the monitor desperately trying to get onto her side but can’t yet.
How old was everyone’s else’s when they started rolling?

2) when did people start dropping night feeds? My formula fed daughter has 1 bottle in the night at around 1! Not sure when I should think about dropping this? She wakes another 2-4 times in the night but just for the dummy.

Self settling

Does anyone’s baby self settle to sleep (when they first go to sleep) without a dummy?

I’m just wondering and getting paranoid what my baby should be settling themselves to sleep

silly question…

How do you guys break the attachment to smaller clothes your baby can’t fit anymore and get rid of them? I’m cleaning out my daughters drawers today and feel my heart hurting with each piece I take out 😩
