I love kids but never wanted any.. I had a child by accident and realized I want to have him and ended up loving him and loving mother hood but til this day I feel isolated like I lost myself and don’t know who I am anymore .. mostly because I feel I didn’t choose motherhood .. and I feel lost in motherhood like this isn’t who I am .. having identity crisis .. still in denial .. I don’t know who I was before I had a baby.. anyone else went through this? I plan on seeing a therapist.. but any advice would help me see the light in this situation

I am going through exactly the same thing I love my son but I honestly don’t know who I am as a person anymore and I never wanted kids and don’t plan on having anymore but I just feel so lost and alone especially cause I don’t have many people I can talk to about it

Hi sisters, I understand. I went through the same thing with my first, I’m going to be honest, it took about 3/4 years for me to feel like me again. It does get better, you’re adapting to motherhood, something that changes you completely in the best way. Don’t loose hope your personality is still in there 🤍🌷 my inbox is always open.

I could’ve written this myself. My husband and I got accidentally pregnant with twins, took us weeks to decide if we were gonna keep the pregnancy and eventually we decided to because it would’ve been too sad for us to abort. But I felt like motherhood was just sprung onto me and I wasn’t prepared or in a place in my life where I wanted it. I love my babies but my life isn’t what I wanted it to be at my young age. I keep telling myself that I’m gonna miss this when they get older and that I’ll get my freedom back some day.

I planned my baby but I felt I changed a lot after my baby was born. All good changes but I definitely changed a lot.
I recently left my partner of 4 years, I don't know whats wrong with me, i haven't cried or anything, but i feel so lonely, I just cannot get passed this feeling, I have had friends over but once they go, its back to being lonely again. Has anyone had this before ? What do i do?

Hey everyone I’m McKenna my son was born in July. He is my first baby and I love being his mommy but I’m also kind of lonely. It was like once I had my baby people got excited for about 2 weeks then fell off the face of the planet. So I’m looking to connect with other moms who are in a similar boat to me. I would love to get to know some of you!

Looking for some mom friends! Don’t get me wrong I love my kids and love being with them but sometimes I need some girl time! I’m in the southeastern Idaho so I’m looking for some besties in that area to just connect and chill with. I am LDS but you don’t have to be LDS to be my friend.😊

Is anyone else using Mirena has a birth control option after having a baby. Since I got it inserted I’ve been bleeding nonstop. I got it done in June 2026 and it’s now October and I’m still bleeding. There are days where it’s much lighter but then picks back up. Please let me know I’m Jo the only one.

Heyy! Sahm of 2 under 2 looking to find my village of women. I have a hard time reaching out to new people so you might have to make the first move. I haven't ever really had a tribe of women I could trust to be around but I would like to change that as I've been struggling lately and could use some support from people who might better understand what I'm going through. I could really use some genuine women in my corner because motherhood and an unhealthy relationship has consumed my identity for quite some time now.
If you can relate please reach out 🙏 I'm located in the Austin, AR area. I love the outdoors, plants, gardening, homesteading, crafty things, coffee, animals, and a whole slew of other things. I'll for sure be a little shy at first but once my protective walls come down, I'm a friggin hoot to be around. I hope to meet up or chat with some of y'all soon 🫶🏻 K thanks, byeeee
