Does anyone else get frustrated when kids don’t have rules or routines in another parent’s house?
Because then they come back to you tired, crying over everything cause their tired, terrible attitude and thinking that your house rules no longer apply and neither does their bed time.. one comes back not wanting to sleep in their room cause they still go sleep over there with the other parent, and the other thinks waking up at silly o’clock n gaming is okay…
Like it’s annoying as it’s happening but it’s not the kids that are at fault .. it’s the lack of everything over at another parent’s house. There is no talking to the other parent because they think their right about everything but then when things are not going their way with the kids they ring n message for you to be the bad guy with erm or ask advice then don’t take it cause it means effort…
I know so many people are in this position.. I’m just particularly annoyed as the past few weeks it’s just one thing after another..

oh hell you are preaching to the choir right now girl! SS sees his mum twice a month, and half of the school hols. Lives with us (court order) and i look after him full time! he goes to preschool atm so we use a fab routine through the week and he only goes there for 1 night every other week and comes back in a right state! it’s like she’s bringing home a different child😩

Sorry this is happening! I'm lucky to have a good co parenting relationship with my Step Daughters Mum.
We all follow the same rules and routine, somethings are slightly different but the general routine and main rules stay the same with us as with her Mum. As that's definitely better for the children.
If she is on a YouTube ban at home she also is here.
Bedtime is the same time as at home and same routine.

My kids are always like this when they come back from their Dad's. Takes a couple of days to get them back to their best again.
