Feeling old…

32 FTM with a 3mo old boy! Every night I put him into the bassinet and when I lean back up my left knee cap cracks. I felt like it’ll wake him up one day 😂 just wanted to share. Take care of yourselves haha, don’t wake the babies with your joints.

I am a ftm of a 3 and a half month old little boy. I am 35 and within the next month or two I will be getting a full left knee replacement due to arthritis. I definitely feel this post lol. 😄

Keep moving keep active! The more we move our bodies the more the joints and muscles actually get used and will hurt less. A physical hobby is great for making friends at our age too if not just for the physical aspect, the socialising aspect of a walking/hiking/cycling group, or fitness classes like Pilates/yoga/Zumba/heels/pole/salsa bachata and the like. It’s breaks up our week, gives us something to look forward to and we start knowing who everyone is and they start to know us as well. It becomes a “community”. The Zumba community is huge all over the world, so is the dance community. I actually didn’t know how big/popular until I started. It’s like a whole other world I did not know about. I also get 19k steps after a night of salsa dancing! Keeps me fit for sure, coordination memory stamina etc. brings a much needed dose of dopamine as well. For now since you are 3m try pace walking w the pram.

Cleaning up after baby

Okay, so my daughter will eat until full and I'll take her out of her highchair and put her down with her toys and go to sweep up her mess...
Am I the only one with a baby that will speed crawl to where I'm sweeping and try to eat what I'm sweeping up? Like she's 1000% done in the high chair but the second I sweep it up into one pile on the floor she all of a sudden needs everything in that pile and will scream cry when I sweep it into the dust pan? Does anybody else's baby do this??

4 month old sleeping long

My 4 month old usually falls asleep at 10:30ish and sleeps through the night. Today I took him on a walk it was windy but sunny , he slept a bit in the car and woke up when we got home, had a full bottle and played a bit and then fell asleep at 7:30pm. I thought it would be a nap as he has been having shorter naps recently but it’s now almost midnight and he hasn’t woken up yet, my stress is that he’s in a fleece sweatshirt and leggings and I havent done bedtime or put his sleepsuit on, or changed his nappy since we got home 4.5 hours ago. Should I leave him to be in a deep sleep or should I gently wake him to change and then feed him?

I also think the walk or sun tired him out

Sex after birth

I’m 9 weeks postpartum and sex stings rlly bad, I had a natural birth and I know they’ll be damage like my baby was over 10 pounds but i get turned on and once it’s over I’m in pain down there and partly during it too especially when deep in sorry this is explicit but I have a high sex drive so not having sex is tricky for me but then the pain afterwards is quite uncomfortable
