Potty training failure

Does anyone else feel like such a failure? I’m following advice from books, shes showing signs of readiness but nothing is working. We have tried again for the 2nd time this weekend after having tried and stopped at Christmas because she was getting scared. She asks me to change her nappy everytime she goes for a poo, she also tells me when she’s doing a poo. When I try to take her on the potty or toilet she just says no! She has sat on it a few times but hasn’t done anything on it. She finally went for a wee on the floor after about 5 hours of doing nothing and cried saying nappy on , nappy on until I gave in and put her nappy back on her.
Do we just wait a few more months now?
It’s just frustrating as most toddlers in her nursury class are now toilet trained and I don’t want us falling behind or it portraying us in a bad light. Perhaps I’m just over thinking too much 😭

Useless partner.. what do I do at this point!🫩

So in my whole pregnancy my partner wasn’t supportive, useless and basically neglected me. It’s got WORSE post partum.. how is this possible?? He helped the first week or so but ever since He hasn’t looked after me at all, left me to do everything as per like all the house work, nappy changes bottles I have to wake him up to help and then he falls back to sleep snd ignores me. When he does do something it takes hours for one little task,
all he tells me is how tired he is

I had stitches down there so I can’t lift anything for 6 weeks either, the house is becoming messy because he won’t help run the hoover over aswell or move heavy things etc Everything’s “I’ll do it in a minute “ I’m being called everything under the sun when I call him out on his behavior and then he just constantly walks out because he can’t handle it.. even in general he’s in the toliet for over half an hour or he’s outside vaping. I can’t back being with an immature guy anymore.. I’ve spoken to him a million times nothing changes, I also have all the financial responsibility as he has no money atm cos he was off work on paternity, I’m so sick of arguing I have tried to end the relationship every single day and it’s like he won’t let me!! I feel like a single mum
What do I do! Thoughts?

Problems with husband

I’m feeling so distant from him………he seems always upset at me. Tries to push for sec all the time. Even after my clearance from the doctor it was still uncomfortable and he thought I was just making it up. Literally talks to me like I’m a piece of shit. He’s got so many girls in things shaking their asses on his instagram and I can’t have any guys on mine. I’m not the girl who has people he’s uncomfortable with on any social media. I’ve always respected his wishes. I try to get as much as I can done in the house and it’s never good enough. There’s so much more too. My stress is on maximum with him and I’m just not happy anymore!
Sorry for the rant! I just don’t know what to do?

Would you find that weird?

So I was telling my older sister that my friend is talking to my husbands brother and my sister was like “oh yeah they both look alike and they’re both good looking ”.

Meaning my husband and his brother are both attractive. Why did she need to mention my husband?

What can I give my 3 year old for snacks other than fruit? At the moment it’s fruit + baby bells but I need new ideas. Preferably things healthy

First birthday

Hi all, I've started shopping around for some bits for my little boys first birthday. Would just love to hear if there any toys your little one absolutely loves that would be worth looking at?

Also anyone that bought any soft play blocks for climbing etc would you say they're worth it?

For context he is in a rush to do everything, only 8 months and already crawling/pulling up to stand/trying to climb on everything, so definitely a very active little man!

Switching to pull ups and potty training?

So my daughter this past week has been very discontent with diaper changes unless she's just woken up. It's like wrestling a little alligator and she will try to roll over and crawl off and will cry and just lose her little baby mind. Sometimes I can distract her with something else (wipes, other diaper, ointment container, toy, etc.) but it's a hit or miss (more so miss in the past couple days) and she won't even be satisfied with her binky. Sometimes I have to sit her on my lap, put it on her while she's on her hands and knees trying to crawl away, while she's actively rolling onto her tummy/on her tummy, or while she's standing holding onto me.
My question is- will pull ups help with this diaper time fight?
She is 10 months old, she can pull to stand and has taken a few steps while holding onto things, she has climbed on top of a storage bin, but she isn't walking or talking yet (just babbling and questionably maybe a couple words but not clearly).
Is this the point where I should switch to pull ups and try to potty train? And what tips do y'all have?
