Home move with kids and pregnant

I feel just really crap and have a whirlwind of a mix of different emotions. I feel exhausted because I am almost in my third trimester and the kids are home and not at nursery - and that between boxes and chaos and disorder. I feel stressed because there is so many daily things to get through just to get through the day like at first I could barely unpack one box in a few days at all because I was just busy with the normal demands of having two little ones (3 and 2 yrs old). I feel depressed because the infatuation with moving from our small flat into a bigger house has worn off quickly after we finally realised how much work this house needs - from a dysfunctional heating and boiler system to replacung the disgusting kitchen and all the floors from start to finish to the unpacking and aesthetics. I also feel an overwhelming sense of guilt of what I am putting my little kids and my unborn baby through. Off term is supposed to be a time of reconnection with the family, of going out and spending time together and more often than not they experience me on edge, impatient and weak. Almost every day there are numerous spontaneous moments where I just feel like breaking down and crying and I feel like I can't even share this with my husband because for some reason he takes it the way that I don't see what he is doing to help move the things forward and that I am ungrateful but it has nothing to do with him at all. I just feel crap😭
I also feel so horrible for snapping at my toddlers for little things like my youngest complaining about the spaghetti being too long but she just doesn't know that I am terrified by the amount of dirty dishes I can't seem to get through because now I am left without a dishwasher. Or my older not falling asleep for the night for ages and he doesn't realise I have lots of emails and calls to respond to still and I can't do these things while they are awake. Or my unborn baby kicking a lot in the night and not letting me sleep, all these things which are usually fine and even beautiful or funny can bring me so quickly to tears and crying nowadays....

My first instinct is to say get paper plates in for now, honestly you have so much going on you don’t need to be washing up.

You’re rightly overwhelmed, moving house is one of the most stressful life experiences and you’re doing it with two smalls and a million raging hormones!

Your kids won’t even remember this time in their lives. Try and take some time away from the house to just breath. Even just a walk around the local park xx

Taking a newborn out

What age/ weeks is it okay to take a newborn out of the house?
Christmas is my favorite time of the year and my baby will be born 2 weeks before Christmas. It’s my family in Milton Keynes turn to host Christmas this year and I live in Surrey. I badly want to attend the Christmas party as I haven’t had a proper Christmas in about 5 years.
I don’t want to risk my baby being around that many people. I also would have to take a train there as I don’t drive and I don’t know how fussy the baby will be. I know I don’t have to go but I was just wandering if anyone has any tips or advice cause I would love to have a lovely Christmas with my new born rather than be alone at home with my husband😭

Update

For those who have seen and commented on my last post about my husband and the lack of taking care of our son me and him had a very long talk about it and essentially I told him if he does it start helping or doing better I am taking our son and leaving and apparently that got through to him very clearly and I gave him one last chance I had to go to an appointment that was about an hour and a half to two hours long the place was like right down the road from my house so I walked there and walked back because I like walking but I gave that time to my husband to see if he has the chance of actually stepping up or not and he did extremely well our son was in a clean diaper and was happy and fed and later on that night I went back and watched our baby monitor and he was actually doing what I asked him to do so clearly I got through to him but Idk if I can day I fully trust him yet

Weaning early

Anyone who weaned their baby at 5 months, did you consult the health visitor first? My baby can’t take anymore milk during feeds without projectile vomiting and so we introduced banana puree and a bit of baby porridge and he’s so much happier and not vomiting so much obvs this is so much better for us as he would normally be wanting more milk but he can’t handle it and ends up projectile vomiting. I know they will try and convince me to wait so don’t really want to consult them but just wondering if anyone has started weaning and not told them? or had any issues with not telling them?

Thankssss

Urgent

We’ve gone to the children’s ER and urgent care , no answers. For most of the week my year-old has been having high fevers and really fussy and nonstop crying had on off diarrhea and doesn’t want to eat at all, and barely drinks much. She keeps pointing to her mouth, but can’t communicate what’s wrong to her teeth. Look OK from this photo?
