hey! need some honest opinions and personal feedback! i turn 20 this month and am currently 11 weeks pregnant. i was working a physical job (on a horse ranch) full time until 9,5w while struggling with insomnia, severe food aversions and nausea. i am still struggling with all of those symptoms and find it incredibly hard to do anything during the day. i take naps, try to go for a short walk atleast but don’t do so everyday, i do some cleaning while my partner is at work, but mainly stay in bed. it’s a hard transition for me to go from an active everyday life to this, especially seeing women online who work or go to the gym their whole pregnancy, and considering i’m young. did anyone else feel like this? am i valid for choosing to rest or is it better i force myself to do something throughout the day?

you absolutely should rest, the first trimester is tough and forcing yourself to be really active will only make you feel worse. movement is still a good idea, but just a little movement is fine for now, like going for walks is really good, even short ones!
you'll have more energy as you go into your second trimester so you won't find it so difficult to be a bit more active
also try not to compare yourself to others! you're doing great, everyone is different and every pregnancy is different

I just turned 21 an I was exactly where you are now last year. Quit my job working with livestock because I was too sick to keep up. You’re not alone with these feelings, it’s a very difficult transition but you are absolutely valid to choose to rest. You’re are creating a life which is a full time job!! Take as many naps as you need, sleep in, stay in bed all day if you need to. I remember being so nauseous I couldn’t get out of bed, first trimester can be rough! Take all the naps you can now while pregnant with your first, these will be some of the best uninterrupted naps you’ll have for a while. Next pregnancies you’ll have another human to take care of on top of it all so embrace these precious naps. (I say this with love lol contact nap with babies are pure bliss too)
Also every pregnancy is different and comparison is a thief of joy. So don’t get too upset about not being able to be active. Pregnancy is the perfect “excuse” to relax!❤️
Anyone want to share some cute or silly pics you've gotten of your July babies? I don't want to post my littles on other social media so posting here to share ☺️ this is a pic my wife got when she surprised the heck out of him, and I giggle every time I see it. Let's see some of yours!

I most likely have to have a c section in a few weeks and I have never felt so nervous in all my life. I struggle sleeping at night and it's all I think about during the day as I am a very anxious person.
I haven't been able to speak to a consultant yet. I wondered if anyone has any words of advice or even words of advice from a consultant they spoke to?

Hi ladies! ❤️
I’m currently 5 weeks and a few days pregnant, and my first ultrasound isn’t scheduled until November 17, when I’ll be around 9 weeks.
Lately, I’ve been experiencing a dull ache in the middle and sometimes on the sides of my lower abdomen, almost like mild period cramps. I’m just wondering if anyone else experienced something similar this early in pregnancy.
Is this a common symptom? And did anyone else have to wait until 9 weeks for their first scan? I’m worried
Would love to hear your experiences! 💕

I am in need of a break from this 24/7 mum role. The screaming, crying, constant picking up, constantttt cleaning, washing up, cooking, picking up mess, to-do lists, everyday supermarket runs, admin, energy into trying to get baby to sleep, trying to get him to eat , waste of food, breast feeding, sterilising, mum rage, mental load feel like I just a huge bloody break from all of it !
