Anyone else going through the dreaded sleep regression?? My baby is EBF so I’ve understood it’s normal for him to wake every 3 hours. Since he’s been born we’ve done a mix of sleep in the next to me and cosleeping and he did one 5 hour stint once but everything else was every 2-3 hours. Now the last 3 weeks he has woken up every 45 mins with a few stints being an hour and a half. This is horrendous! I’m also fighting off a bad cold at the minute and it just feels I’ll not be able to recover because of the lack of sleep.
Please is your baby doing this too and are you doing anything to help/stop it?

Yep my baby is a terrible sleeper and it's only seeming to get worse 😩 I'm actually so tempted to stop BF all together to see if it helps as I just can't physically do it anymore it's so exhausting

My baby has been doing the exact same thing & I EBF so it feels some what more relentless 🙈 last night though I just kept trying to soothe her back to sleep. Kept trying with her dummy and she went back without a feed. I just think it will be a distant memory soon. Roll with it nap in the day if you can. Last night I went to sleep same time as her at 8pm and I feel so refreshed for doing it and not trying to stay up 🤣

Sending love! Not as bad but mine started waking between midnight & 1 2 weeks ago which has triggered a night long fight with her dummy & me getting up constantly to put it back in. I usually end up giving in and bringing her into bed as the comfort of me distracts from the missing dummy. So hard when they used to behave one way and now they've changed it entirely. She's bottle fed, which helps, and I definitely don't have it as bad as others. Sending strength x

Having the battle here as well. He is bottlefed - has a 4 -5 stint and then is up every 2 hours. He wont nap during the day without alot of crying and even getting him down bow at nights takes an hr when he used to always be pretty easy🥲🥲. We can do this ladies

Same here. I’ve realised I don’t even think it’s wanting to be feed every time but more for comfort and reassurance. He was doing great at going down at night but the past two weeks now I’ve had to hold him 24/7. I guess I’ll just power through and hope he can settle more soon. I know people who combo feed who have the same issue - think it’s more growth spurt, teething and development more than anything else.

Girls I highly recommend huckleberry. My November baby is my second and with my first I was exactly the same his sleep was all over the place and it was a battle every nap and bedtime. Now my November baby wakes once/twice a night for a quick breastfeed and she’s straight back to sleep. I have some free trials for huckleberry premium if anyone wants one. You log the sleep and it tells you the ‘sweet spots’ for when they should next nap and when bedtime should be! It honestly saved my sanity xx

Hi I'd love a free trial please x

EBF mama - been going through this for about 6 weeks! He pretty much slept through until the regression and I’m yet to see it ending anytime soon 😅 Sorry no advice but just to know you’re no alone 🫶🏻 We do a mix of cot an co-sleeping depending on the sort of night he’s having!

Yeah the 4 month regression is hell!! I remember with my first being the worst part of having a baby. It doesn’t last forever and does get easier as the weeks go by. I think you’ve just got to ride the wave unfortunately. Take any support you can and sleep whenever you can!
My LG (2.5) has always been a great sleeper. She still naps during the day, usually for anywhere between 1.5–3 hours, but lately she’s been fighting her naps and they’re getting later and later. But when shes gone, shes sparko!
We’ve had a few days recently where she hasn’t napped at all, and if she’s kept busy, she gets delirious by the end of the day before sleeping from 7pm–6am.
However, if we’re having a quieter day at home or I can’t get out, she might finally nap from 1–3pm. I try not to let her nap that late because it pushes bedtime back to around 10pm, but I also don’t want to keep her awake when she’s clearly exhausted, whinging and in need of sleep.
Does anyone have any tips for gently waking a toddler from a nap so they don’t sleep for so long? Or is it time to drop naps altogether? Alternatively, how can I get her back into the routine of napping from 12–2pm like she used to?
I know she obviously still needs the sleep, but our days are now starting at 5am, and I’m struggling to work out what’s best for her. I'm also aware the clocks go back soon which will fuck me even more. Shes up from 5/6am. She has so much energy and we play from the moment she opens her eyes till bedtime.
For context, I also have a 6-month-old who sleeps amazingly from 8pm–7am. This then means I sort my toddler out and have to wait upstairs until my baby wakes up as transporting her downstairs will wake her unnaturally.

She’s too pushy and I’ve said no endless times. It’ll be very stressful for him. I don’t pump because I don’t like it and my baby doesn’t like bottles. I’m currently trying to break nurse-sleep association. It doesn’t make any sense to attempt a sleepover because it’ll be just stressful for baby and I. I just can’t be asked to keep saying NO. It’s almost harassment. I said it’ll eventually happen once I’m back to work, not while I’m in mat leave as I don’t want to be away from my son yet. How can I approach this in a friendly way? She’s just too much sometimes and I’ve been very friendly and open about the idea, but not about the timing.

Moms that travel; I’m taking my 1 y/o (21months ) on her first trip tomorrow . I’m dreading taking her car seat . What do you normally do if you don’t travel w/ your car seat ? Can you request a driver with one on ride share apps ?

What’s everyone getting for their newborn to sleep in, I’m torn whether to get a love to dream swaddle.. are they good?

1) how much sleep are you averaging at the moment? (I’m 3 weeks PP currently and baby is feeding every 3 hours, so getting 3 hours max of uninterrupted sleep)
2) are your babies really noisy and wriggly after night feeds but absolutely fine in the day?! If so, any tips please 🙏
3) following on from above really, how long does each feed take? Mine is up from about 1.5 hours from each feed so it’s sooo exhausting as she just won’t settled afterwards and is really wriggly/nosiy
Just wondering if I’m doing something wrong as I’m so tired and if the feeds were a bit quicker at night/could get her back down quicker it’d be so much better then I could actually sleep!
Thanks so much 🥰
