Hi all, I had spotting from Thursday to Saturday and then it stopped. I woke up this morning and it's started again (brown) I have a scan on Thursday but I never had this with Evie.. it was more a few drops that lasted 4 days and stopped. Anyone else?

I didn't have it that early but with Apollo (second baby) I had some spotting around 25 weeks. Turns out I had a polyp on my cervix and every time I had sex or any swabs done it irritated it which made it bleed. I didn't know I had it up until that point! Gave birth and then the polyp disappeared!
I'm assuming you've called the early pregnancy unit for advice? If not definitely do so just for a bit of peace of mind 💞

I had this with my first baby, I spotted on and off till I was 12 weeks and then it seemed to settle 💕 baby boy is now four! I know how worrying it is. I hope you get an early scan so you can get reassurance xx

Wow that's really reassuring.. it's weird I have had no cramps with it it's really minor and it's brown blood. Yes I have scan on Thursday just a shame i can't get in earlier xx thank you for sharing that xx

I am 9+3 weeks and started spotting today but it was just very light pink. It happened when I woke up and then this evening. When I had my private scan at 7weeks, they told me I have a hematoma so I'm hoping it's just that (I bled quite a lot in my previous pregnancy because of another hematoma), but I'll try to get checked just in case if it continues. Your brown spotting is a good thing as brown means it's old blood and it could just be some left blood from your previous spotting.
I hope it's going well for you- spotting is always so scary even though it can be so common too!
these november baby’s ain’t playing i’ve been in labor since this afternoon she’ll be here soon !

Hello
I’m 36+2 and I’m officially over the midwife care I have received, I’ve been dismissed multiple times on different subjects by multiple midwife’s in my community midwife team , I’ve not seen one consistently it’s been a group of 4 of them , I get told “ we will talk about that at the next appointment “ only to have somone else and it not be discussed & for my last 2 appointments I’ve been sent to maternity assessment .
I also asked not to see one of the midwives again and I was told it’s not possible and can’t garuntee it .
It’s causing me more stress now than anything is anyone else in the same boat ? Can I refuse maternity care going forward ?
I’m happy to go to maternity assessment if needed but I can’t with the community midwives anymore .

Having my second baby and this time around I have to have a C section due to complications in my last pregnancy.
Could you give me your best tips and advice. I have no idea how to prepare or what to bring or use post healing!
Super nervous about it.
Thank you 🩷

People say the sun starts to come out at 3 months postpartum and slowly becomes enjoyable at 4-5 months, in this true, i have been reading mixed things, currently at 6 weeks postpartum and just surviving on hope things Will be better!!

My sister has her hen do abroad, 6 weeks after my baby is due. I’m so torn as I know with my first I struggled leaving her for a minute when she was that small. I obviously don’t want to miss my sisters hen do as I’m maid of honour & so excited for her!
My fiance has said he is happy for me to go and he will look after our toddler and the newborn. (I’d have to pump and leave milk) although we might try to combi feed like we did for our first.
Would love to be there for both occasions. Is it so bad just for 3 nights?

My little one is turning one soon, and I’d love to hear how other mums marked the day. Did you do a big party, a day out, or something simple at home?
