Everyday is different for my LO. There’s no set routine in the sense, one day she’ll wake up at 7am the next 9am. Then snacks, lunch, dinner , nap times are all different every single day. I returned back to work and I feel like I should have a set routine at this point but there isn’t one? What can I do. The only set thing about it is her bedtime is 9pm.

We set our routine by having the same wake up time each day as then it anchors everything else! So ours looks like this (on non-nursery days)
6.30 wake
8 breakfast
10-11.15 nap
12 lunch
3-4 nap
5 dinner
8 bed
On nursery days she naps slightly earlier but we try to keep bedtime as close to 7.45/8 as possible to keep her routine
When we go down to one nap I assume bedtime might shift a bit earlier to 7.30. She sleeps about 10.75 hours a night generally. It’s definitely anchoring the wake time that helps the rest of the routine so you could work out what works best for a 9pm bedtime if you want it to stay at that time.

We are the same, we are all over the place and I have been trying to get into routine since forever with him, when we finally start getting into routine, he becomes unwell or my daughter becomes unwell ( she’s 5) so we are all over the place, it’s hard, bedtime is the same, he goes to sleep about 9-9.30, no matter how much I try to get into it, we are all over, so I’m glad it’s not just me🙈🙈

I second what Callie says, if my daughter hasn’t woken by 7am I wake her but she normally wakes somewhere between 6 and 7am. I find this keeps her routine fairly consistent give or take 15-30mins x
FTM to a one month old and we want to travel to visit family so they can meet the baby. The drive is only 4 hours away but online keeps saying to take breaks etc because its dangerous to have the baby in a car seat for more than 2 hours at a time. Anyone been thru something similar? And what did you do?

Hi all, my baby is almost 6 weeks and in the past few days have been a real struggle as I breastfeed him, he temporarily falls asleep on me than suddenly wake up and cries non stop. No hunger or cold/warm temp or gassiness involved I believe - I tried also putting them in any position (on me as well), but nothing really works.
Quite sleep deprived therefore - both of us.
Anyone having something similar at month 2? How did you deal with it?
Any suggestion is welcome 🫶🏻

So my recently turned 10 month old has just started throwing his head back and making his body rigid when he’s not happy about something - like being put in his play pen, being taken for a nappy change/ nap etc. I’m worried of him doing it and hitting his head hard or worse being dropped (he is very big and heavy) - there has been a few near misses already.
He has also bitten me a few times in the last month (he’s got opposing teeth so really hurts) - luckily that seems to be lessening.
Just wondering if others are/ did have similar experience with their LB? Is it normal to start tantrum type behaviour at this age? And if so how do you react to it?

If your toddler 2 years wakes up at night and you know it’s a regression and they’re not crying just making whining noises and other sounds would you go into his/her room or just wait for them to fall asleep again even if it takes up to an hour?

Has anyone made a switch overnight rather than a gradual change? If so how did your baby react. My baby girl is 3 months and I’m planning to switch. She’s exclusively bottle fed.

I just needed to rant and get this out.
I’m 5 months postpartum on the 21st and I have never felt so uncomfortable in my own skin. I look in the mirror and barely recognise myself.
I’ve tried different things, I’ve changed my hair, try doing my makeup, bought new clothes and it all seems to make me feel worse.
And the weird thing is, it’s not my c section scar or my stretch marks that are actually bothering me, I can admire they gave me my beautiful son. It’s literally EVERYTHING else about myself I just hate looking at myself in the mirror!
I don’t think it helps that I feel so lonely, I don’t feel like many people understand what I went through with my labour and what I’m going through MH wise now and just think I’m being ignorant but I physically don’t have the mental capacity to message people everyday and be in constant conversation but yet I crave human interaction and friends.
Does everyone feel this way at first and when does it go away?
