Its been almost 12 years I am with my husband. 5 yrs dating and 7 yrs as married couple . I'm educated as him we both have master's in engineering. I married him right after I finished my master's and opportunities come from very far distance so he told not to look that since we can't be together and need to keep long distance relationships. As a new wife I was in madly love with him and listened and started trying for competitive exams(in India it will secure future) and slowly stared passing preliminary exams, in that time he come here and did the masters here and I followed him and started working as optical consultant and it's been 3 years now. Now he is telling me I didn't looked into my field after I lost all confidence and everything. Every single day he is moking me saying I am good for nothing... I'm very depressed
Back in India I was under his mom doing every household job.. like waking up at 4:30 in the morning doing cleaning cooking until 8:30 then going to class for prepping exam then coming back again lot of housework. at least I passed the exam in between all these things. Again I left everything behind just to be with him,I am so depressed

hi, I just wanna say I’m truly sorry. No one deserves to go through that!! this kind of angers me because you are so willing to give up everything for him or do anything for him and it doesn’t seem like he’s willing to do the same for you and him using it against you is just disgusting!! i’m not sure what you’re able to do if you’re able to leave, but I would start setting myself up — and like you said you woke up early was doing all the cleaning and still managed to pass school !!!! girl you’re amazing!!!!

It sounds like your husband needs to feel himself a big man by making you feel small.
Need advice on what to do with this situation… I really regret my 18 month olds name and have done for a while. When he was around 6 months this feeling started and at around 8 months I discussed it with my husband and he said he wasn’t that keen on the name on the first place but he just came round to it because I really liked it. He said well that is his name now he responds to it etc and everyone knows his name so I thought we’ll just leave it now and maybe this feeling will go away I thought it could also be post partum related. Fast forward a year I still don’t like it and I cringe when I call him or anyone else says it and I wish I would’ve persuaded my husband to change it back then (I think he would’ve eventually) it would’ve been so simple then to just amend his birth certificate as he was under 1 and looking back he was still really young for people to get used to the change now it’s a case of changing by deed poll and he seems too old now. Has anyone else been through this? What do I do?

I’m 38 weeks pregnant and really struggling.
My little boy is 23 months and he has turned into an absolute nightmare. the tantrums are so extreme and it’s like walking on eggshells with him. It’s like he is so fragile and emotional and ANY little thing sets him off. He goes to nursery/family 4 days a week and is fine there but I’m finding myself dreading my one day off with him. I’m trying to ignore the tantrum and reward when he stops rather than giving in but I don’t know how to handle this in public when everyone is looking and he’s running away from me. I can’t just pick him up kicking and screaming due to being so heavily pregnant.
He’s definitely worse for me than his dad and others but it’s just so mentally draining, I feel so flat and down about it and it feels like everyone around me isn’t struggling at all with 2 or more children and I keep thinking if I can’t even cope before the baby is here how am I going to cope with 2?
Feel like such a failure.

My baby is almost 11 months old and it’s still such a battle to get him to eat food. I’ve tried purées and & finger foods.
I don’t see how he’s going to drop his formula at 12 months if he’s not eating solids?
Is this something is should chat to the gp about? He often cries and has a tantrum everytime he’s offered food

My 7 month old refuses to hold food in his hands for more than 5 seconds and doesn’t reach for food, he eats realllllly well if I spoon feed him but he’s not interested in picking food up to eat himself he holds it puts it to his mouth then either throws it on the floor or drops it down his front, almost instantly, iv tried to hold off spoon feeding so as he’s hungry enough to want to feed himself but he just screams until I feed him 😩
