Ultrasound scan department not answering to calls

Hello everyone! I'm having my baby at Darent Valley hospital. I've been trying to call the ultrasound scan dept to ask them info about my 34 week scan, as I haven't received any appointment letter yet, but they never answer the phone! I used both phone numbers on the website and I can't find any other way to contact them. Anyone with Darent Valley can share any tip?

Hi Nadia, as far as I’m aware NHS doesn’t offer additional scans after the 20 weeks scan unless it’s been requested by your GP for other health related issues. Did the maternity team or the GP suggests you are due one?

Sounds about right

My only tip is to keep ringing them, I had lots of scans at DVH and was forever rescheduling them and the department were an absolute nightmare to get through to

But as above, if you are not high risk and / or your midwife hasn't requested further scans then they won't be available to you

I had serial scans from 28w for a high risk pregnancy and was sent letters for each one a lot closer to the time

Bed transition

When did you move your baby into their own room? My baby is now 6 months old and this morning I found him on his stomach in his next to me. He can roll both ways but hasn’t got the understanding that he can’t always roll in the direction he wants to. I worry about SIDS with him being on his stomach. I have anxiety about moving him into his own room because I can’t just look over and check he’s ok and breathing. Has anyone else experienced this and when did you move your baby into their room?

Boyfriend wet dream

So my boyfriend recently has been having wet dreams an I tried to bring it up to him an he tells me he doesn’t an never has an I been recording wut he says in his sleep an I caught him saying booty an then uh I keep bringing it up to him cuz it makes me not be able to sleep cuz he’s doing things in his sleep I don’t know what to do

Pain in the shoulder

Hey everyone!

Anyone experienced shoulder pain during pregnancy?

I’m reading all these things online and I’m starting to freak out as I am not sure if it’s because of training or something more serious. It’s not at the tip of the shoulder and don’t have any bleeding.

My scan is on the 5th of November! I am about 5 weeks ish

midwife appointment

I have an appointment when ill be 34+6 with my midwife, (aberdeen) does anyone know what to expect ? just wondering if its worth my husband coming along or not... thank you
