My baby seem to love music and usually react when I put on music with kicks and movements. I can't believe that he is already a little person with preferences and have a favourite song (unfortunately, it's Baby Shark 🦈)

Completely normal , most babies do it.
When I first started feeling my twins (and my oldest) I started putting a speaker on my belly for them to have a little wiggle to 🤣 now I do it when we’ve had a quiet day with little movement

Yes defo, I am fully staying away from baby music though, I went through the baby shark phase with my eldest an I cannot face that again just yet 🤦🏼♀️
He’s currently getting an eclectic mix of Progressive, Trance, Mumford & Sons and The Teskey Brothers 🤣

We have a vinyl player and Rod Stewart’s been a hit, and a lot of older classics. It’s amazing how they are so aware of the world
What bits has everyone bought to start weaning baby? Also does anyone have any weaning book recommendations?

My daughter is 16 weeks old now and prior to about 2 weeks ago she used to be such a good sleeper at night. One maybe 2 wakes at most and she slept through the night a handful of times!
Since she hit 14 weeks, everything changed 😅 she wakes up constantly all night, 5-10 times a night.. I’m exhausted! I think the 4 month sleep regression came a little early for us ?
We’re 2 weeks into it now with no sign of it getting any better, how long can I expect this to go on for? Will she ever be a good sleeper again? 😫

Hi everyone. My baby girl was born on 25th September at 34 weeks (she was 5lb 5oz) and we spent a couple weeks in hospital afterwards. Initially for the first 7 days she was tube fed and we were discharged triple feeding, so I breastfeed (have only had success with a nipple shield 🙃) then I top up with 45ml breastmilk afterwards and then pump. This is not sustainable long term but I guess I'm just looking for any success stories from doing this?!? I don't really know what to do, she doesn't transfer milk very well whilst breastfeeding as every feed takes a good half hour per breast (if I manage to get her to latch) and then she needs the top up after. It all feels a bit pointless using the nipple shield but she is completely reliant, has anyone managed to wean their little one off? I went to a breastfeeding clinic locally and found it a bit stressful so don't really want to go back (I just had a lady trying to shove my boob in her mouth for 20 mins without a shield whilst she screamed hysterically). I don't really know what to do and just feel like I need some reassurance to bin it all off and transition to formula maybe? Or shall I wait it out??
She will be 4 weeks on Friday and is now 5lb 14oz (up from 5lb 5oz).
Sending hugs to all you September mums 😄 xxxx
