This is a long one so grab your popcorn and get comfy.. it started back when I first found out I was pregnant me and my partner was so excited, I got booked in for my first scan to see how far along I was and it turned out I was actually 8 weeks and 5 days along so after that first appointment we went to my partners mums house to tell her the news as we were just so excited! when we got round to his mum’s house turned out his auntie and his cousin was there.. so we walked into the house and went into the kitchen to tell her, his auntie had told me to sit down next to her which I did we were talking but for the life of me I can’t remember how the conversation leaded up to her telling me ‘if you don’t let me see the baby I’ll have it taken off you’ (baby brain is horrid), when I first heard that I giggled cause I didn’t fully understood what she had said at first but then it hit me what she had actually said..
The second comment she ever made was on Boxing Day last year, again we was at his mum’s house as all of his family was there for a little buffet.. I think most of his family was in the living room. So me and ry was in the kitchen with his auntie while our daughter was with his mum and I was sat down next to my partner, I was starting to get a little hungry and the only thing on the table I actually fancied was bread sticks. I suffer with severe anxiety so I actually asked my partner to get up and grab me them so he did and his auntie comes out and says ‘I think you need to get tested for autism’ so I giggled cause again I didn’t fully understand what she had just said but when she said it his auntie and nanna had a little giggle to themselves (was it a running joke to say something like that) I didn’t fully understand but I left it saving arguments for my partners sake.
This last came she made to me was only on the 24th January THIS YEAR! my daughters birthday is on the 25th so we agreed to see both her nannas before hit birthday as it was her first birthday and we wanted it to just be us. So on the 24th January we was at his mums coming down the stairs and his auntie was walking out the door but before she walked out she turned round and asked my daughter for a cuddle obviously she turned round back to her dad which gave the hint to say no I don’t want to but she asked my daughter another two times for a cuddle but my daughter didn’t want to give her a cuddle so she looked to me and said ‘looks like she’s catching the tism’ it only took me maybe 30 seconds to grasp what she had actually said but when I realised I look to my partner and gave him the face to say wtf.. get our daughter away from her now so my partner says to her ‘leave her alone’ but it sounded like it was said in a jokey way and not a serious way..
I’ve made it very VERY clear to both his mum and him that his auntie will not be seeing our daughter again.. I have her numerous chances and she’s blown each other, am I wrong for this? needing advice!

You’re not wrong for that, the auntie sounds like an absolute psycho and a very toxic person that your baby does not need in her life!

What a rude and ignorant bitch!
No you’re not wrong. I can’t stand people who are so emboldened to go around diagnosing people of mental health conditions with no medical background whatsoever, usually done out of spite.
Does your partner have your back in all this? That’s the main issue you have now. If he doesn’t agree with you, his aunt will use him as a go between to piss you off and also have access to your child.
